Sierra's Pov

"AWWEE our dorm looks amazing!" Sierra exclaimed. "Right?? We spent so much time and money on it, it better look amazing." Lilian said

Sierra and Lilian are childhood friends. They were three when they met at a daycare and since then they've had a close bond going through elementary, middle, high school together and now college. Some find their friendship unlikely because Sierra is a black girl and Lilian is Korean, but she was adopted when she was born and brought to Alabama where she and Sierra lived until college.

Their bond is like sisters so no one was surprised when they decided to go to college together. While they are close they aren't similar at all. Sierra loves literature, quiet and history; hence why Sierra is double majoring in english and history. She wants to become a museum curator in a major city in the U.S. or Europe one day. While Lilian likes to have fun and likes to mess with people's minds. She is studying psychology and becoming a psychiatrist since she's always found the human brain and behavior interesting. Luckily the childhood best friends are starting off their college careers in a new place together.

"I'm so happy we decided to go to the same school, I don't think i could do this college thing without you Lil's" Sierra said. "Awww I love you Si, likewise" Lilian responded. "Orientation was so draining yet exciting, but I'm most excited about my English class." Sierra said excitedly.

"Ughhh of course you're excited for English, how boring" Lilian said while rolling her eyes. "We should walk around campus and find a boyfriend for you," Lilian teased.

Lilian has a boyfriend back in Alabama, Andy, they met in drama club when they were juniors. Andy decided to stay in Alabama and work at his family's store while he wrote a play to pursue his playwright dreams.

"You know I don't want a boyfriend. School is far more important than an immature boy who is only going to stress me out." Sierra said seriously. "Yeah, I don't care we are leaving, c'mon!" Lilian grabbed Sierra's arm and dragged her out the door.

As Sierra and Lilian walked around campus Sierra saw lots of cool looking people she would want to be friends with, she was in awe of her new environment she was bubbling up inside with excitement. She'd always thrived in school so she felt she would thrive in college too especially since Lilian was with her. While Sierra was looking around for new friends and taking in the school's scenery Lilian was looking at all the men Sierra could fuck. Sierra wasn't a virgin, but she had only been with one guy while Lilian had been with three including her boyfriend Andy.

"Ooooo he's cute isn't he?" Lilian asked Sierra while pointing at a boy a few feet in front of them.

He was tall, his dark tanned skin glowed in the sunlight, but to Sierra he looked like trouble. He looked like he played basketball so he was most likely a player and probably had some kind of std.

"Girl, he might be, but look at his body language he screams trouble. I love you, but stop trying. Let's just enjoy the scenery and find our classes so we won't have trouble on Monday, okay?" Sierra explained to Lilian. Lilian just sighed and nodded her head in agreement, but she knew that with all the attractive guys here one is destined to catch Sierra's attention.

The best friends walked around campus and chatted about all the new things they would do, try and see. They walked around and marked all the buildings where their classes were and then headed to the Blue City Cafe, a small locally owned cafe five minutes outside campus, to work their first shift.

Dean's Pov

Dean was fast asleep on his dorm room couch. He was half on the couch, half off the couch. He was so exhausted after moving into his dorm room with his best friend Thomas. They both were sophomores in college and decided to move into a bigger dorm room with a mutual friend they had met their freshman year.

"Aye Dean get up" Thomas called as he stood over sleeping Dean. "Dean, get the hell up!" Thomas whisper screamed. Dean stirred and grunted something inaudible. "Thomas what the hell?" Dean said sleepily. "Get up, we should go look around campus there are so many new girls around." Thomas said with a grin. "You know I don't care about that, but we can go look for you. I'm not interested." Dean said. Thomas shrugged his shoulders and helped Dean off the couch and they walked outside.

As they walked outside Dean and Thomas just talked about random stuff and Dean's twin sister and her best friend came up. "Hey so what do you think Jess and Devin are up to?" Thomas asked. "Uh probably something annoying like shopping or squealing about boys i couldn't care less" Dean responded. "But I am hungry so let's get food, a new cafe opened a couple of minutes outside of campus. Let's try it out." Dean said. "Okay, let's invite the girls." Thomas said. Dean shrugged and Thomas called the girls, "Hey Jess, me and Dean are going to try this new cafe. Do you and Devin want to join us?" Thomas asked Jess over the phone. "Oh okay cool we'll walk to your dorm and pick you guys up so we can walk together." Thomas confirmed over the phone.

They began walking to Jess and Devin's dorm while talking about the upcoming football season. Soon they approached the girls' dorm and the girls walked down. Devin was first and jumped on Dean while Jess stood behind her smiling.

"Oh my god Dean hi! I haven't seen you in like a month!" Devin exclaimed. Dean peeled Devin off of him and responded to her calmly. "Hey Devin." Dean said. "Hey Devin!" Thomas said shyly. "Oh hey Thomas, what's up?" Devin responded. "Okay so no one wants to say hi to me then? Wow." Jess said jokingly. Dean put his arm around his sister's shoulder, "Let's go, I'm starving." Dean said.

They all started walking and Jess and Thomas trailed behind the twin siblings. They all talked about the upcoming semester; the only one they seemed unenthusiastic was Dean. They continued walking and talking until they were outside the new rustic looking Blue City Cafe.
