Chapter Twenty Two

He is restless, like damn restless.
Different thoughts running through his mind, his mind is in total chaos.
Like he is in chaos himself, not a bit settled.

Now that Arianna has found out about him being adopted what next about him will she find out.
Him being an adopted son of the Rodriguez family is just the tip of the iceberg.

He knew from the very first time met her that he can't let her know about his adoption.
It will definitely unveil many of his haunting demons he wished to bury inside his heart.

Arianna is a very ambitious woman, regardless she is selfless,kind and the best being he has ever known.
She came in like a ray of light, illuminating his dark world which he never thought could be that colorful.

His adoptive family and Arianna are such an angel to him.
They turned his life around, giving him a meaningful existence.

But it seems his demons and dark pasts will never let him have that peace he wants, the peaceful life he craves for.

After getting adopted by the Rodriguez and meeting Arianna, he thought all his misery has gone.
He thought he is going to live a normal life just like other people out there but it was all an illusion.

Something he can never get.
Life has never been fair to him since he was born, the only better thing life offered him was him getting to know the Rodriguez's and the love of his life, Arianna.

And he uys very much grateful about that, at least he made some unforgettable and good memories with them . At least.

No matter how much he tried to conceal or run away form.the truth, reality will definitely meet up with him . Definitely.

His mind wandered off to a year after he met Arianna. That time when his life was being all perfect but his past came running back to him.

Seven Years Ago

A broad excited smile was plastered on his face as he made his way out of the flower shop.
Sniffling in the bunch of red roses in his hand, his smile broaden the more.

He can't wait to give Arianna the best suprise of her life.
On getting to his car, he ruffled his hand through his pockets searching for his car key.

Finally getting it out, as he made to unlock the car a  figure appeared out of nowhere hovering behind him like a prey.

Curiously, he turned his head back to check things out.

" Hey Leo", a very familiar gruffy voice spoke, his ear tingling at how much familiarity sounding in the tone.

On seeing the face, and placing the voice well his jaw dropped in shock.
Adrenaline rushed through his system, blood drained from his face leaving him pale as though he saw a ghost.

" Or is it Richard Rodriguez now ?", The guy smirked wryly.
Below his neck is a snake tattoo, his looks giving out the type of person he is.

" Draco", he managed to say , several thoughts running through his head.
How come? How did they find him?

" Oh man, how have you been? ", He said giving him a jovial friendly punch on his shoulder.

Not wanting to appear weak and intimidated, he shrugged away the pinching feeling at the pit of his stomach, regaining a bit of his composure.

" What are you doing here?", He asked , making sure to have that blank expression on his face.
He can't afford to let his guard down.

" come on, Are you not happy to see me ? Heard you changed your name. You are now appearing on papers, the only son of the Rodriguez.  Ahhhh how funny ", the gruffy guy joked laughing at his own joke.

" Don't you dare come near me or my family", Richard blurted sharply. His expression hard .

Hands up in a surrender," heyy calm down man ",he laughed.

" What are you doing here?", He asked yet again.

" Came into town and decided to go see my big man. Wassup dude",

Richard gulped, his jaw tightening.
" You don't have to. I have to go now ", he said ready to leave.

" Not too soon man, you won't ask about the Boss as you were once his…. You know ",. He grinned wriggling his brows.

"  Don't come to me again Draco ",he warned , then hooped into his car.

As he made to shut the door,. draco held it back.

" The boss wants to see you ", he revealed, his jovial self gone.

He knew it.
Draco will never come to look for him if not ordered by him.
What the hell does he still wants from him?

" And what if I  don't want to see him ", be blurted, trying to close the door but his grip was too hard and tight.

" You know that isn't yours to say . You will have to meet with him someday", draco said.

Angrilly he snapped at him." And he can't control me any longer. Tell him I am no more under him. He should leave me the Heck alone ",

It has been his nightmare of him getting to meet with them again.
He thought he would not need him anymore, he has many other people at his service already. Losing him should not be a problem.

" You know poison as much Leo, he gets what he wants. Just meet with him", draco urged.

Meeting with him is like starting something he won't be able to finish. Poison is a very tricky,manipulative and desperate man.

" Seize your hold",. He ordered, not sparing him a glance.

" Don't act stubborn Leo, he knows everything about you already. From the family you got into to everyone that is currently in your life. Choose and thread wisely", Draco said lastly .

He removed his hold form the car door and disappeared again.

That is who they are, acting and living like a ghost.

Fear gripped him, poison doing a background check on him definitely means he knows about Arianna as well.

His grip on the steering start to shake, it can't be .

Poison has finally find him again and that means a huge thing.
His life which he thought is getting all perfect won't be the same again.
Not after poison is there again.

He needed to do something urgently.
He can't meet up with him and also cannot inform Arianna about it.
She will never see him again.
He can't trouble his family, they've done so much already.

But something must be done urgently before poison will make a move.
He can't afford to lose anyone in his life.

That day was when his misery began.
The day when he was back into the wicked claws of poison.
