Green forest eyes looked around, seeing people leave and go, the owner of those eyes being a beautiful young woman
Her braided red hair flowing a bit by how strong the wind was
'I'm here...? Am I actually here?'
A small smile appeared on the young woman's face
She took in her surroundings more, amazed that she finally arrived in Japan, the place she wanted to see the most in her travels
Tightening her hold on her suitcase, she finally started walking in the direction she knew she had booked her apartment in
'I'm only staying here for 1 month, but i better make the most of it!' She grinned as she thought about all the things she could do
Finally, after a long walk, she finally found where she needed to be
'Woah, even the apartments are cool!'
She couldn't contain her excitement anymore, and put her suitcase near her bed, grabbing some yen, then quickly leaving her apartment to explore
'Okay, okay! So.' Looking at her phone, she tapped the maps icon and looked around
'Higurashi shrine? Isn't that the shrine that got abandoned like 20 years ago?' She furrowed her brows, and a sneaky smile appeared on her face
"I'm quite curious..." she whispered as she went to the location the shrine was at, not so far away from her
Seeing the big tree from a distance, she knew she was close to it, and that made her giddy
She knew it wasn't good to trespass on sacred ground, but her curiosity, and excitement got the best of her
Skipping up the flight of stairs, she saw the abandoned house, and shrine, the old tree seeming just as enormous and eerie as the comments said in one of the videos she watched
'the higurashi family, did they dissappear?'
Still to this day, no one knew what happened to them. They vanished suddenly in one night, only to never be seen again
The family was made of a mother, a daughter, and a son. The grandpa being said to have deceased way before they disappeared
"I wonder if I'll find anything here..." she mumbled, her curious green eyes looking around the place, seeing an old wheelhouse
She bit the inside of her cheek, getting an uneasy feeling about it
'Should i?'
thinking this through, she decided to let her curiosity win, and slowly creeped towards it
Opening the door, the first thing she saw were cobwebs, dust, and darkness.
An odd smell was coming from the weel that was in the middle of the little house. It seemed sealed? From what she could see and her knowledge, at least
"It's.... eh?"she turned her attention to the wheel again and narrowed her eyes, seeing the wheel shake sightly,
'Is it an earthquake? Oh no...'
She almost lost her balance as the ground suddenly started shaking, the wheelhouse creaking, and the wheel inside seeming more and more ominous
"Fuck!-" she cursed, as an old plank that was by the wall hit her and made her stumble towards the wheel, as if almost wanting her to get near it
She paled even more once the seemingly sealed wheel opened. The darkness inside it is almost suffocating
"No- I'm sorry! I DIDN'T MEAN TO ILL LEAVE PLEASE -" her voice got cut off once something dark wrapped itself around her mouth and started dragging her inside the wheel
She held on to the top of it, her fingers started hurting, and eventually, she had to let go
'I'm sorry! Please! I shouldn't have come here!' She thought as tears started appearing, her eyes glossing over, and her vision getting blurry
Then everything went dark

She opened her eyes and sat up so fast she had to hold onto her head so as not to fall back again,
'Shit...'
She closed her eyes again, trying to get rid of the remaining tears
'What happened? Where was she?" She frowned, looking around herself, but that quickly got on her feet and started panicking
"Wasn't i in my apartment?? Wha- why am i here???"
She spoke, her soft voice cracking as she started breathing faster
She saw some vines and quickly got a hold of them, making her way upwards towards where she could see the sky
Once she got a perfect grip at the top she looked up, and her eyes widened
"What the... where am i?"
This was not her apartment
"Oh fuck"
She let out a breath, looking around the forest that surrounded her
'I'm fucked aren't i?...'
