Calm Before The Storm (Wednesday Addams x Y/N)

Chemically Induced Amnesia

Y/N POV:

I wake up and realise I'm on the ground, in the middle of the forest. I let out a small groan as my entire body aches and my head throbs. I hear something hurry towards me and three people rush through the clearing. Oddly, they all seem relieved to see me, especially the one with a particularly dark palette.  I don't recognise any of them. Questions flood my mind in an instant. How did I get here? Who are these people? Why do they seem to know me?

"Where am I? Who are you?" I ask slowly, my voice slightly hoarse.

They all glance at each other with expressions that are a mix of confusion and concern.

"Y/N, it's me Enid," The short blonde girl says.

I continue to lay there, puzzled. I don't know this girl, nor anyone called Enid, so how does she know my name? They stand there in silence, presumably waiting for a response from me, but I don't know what to say to these strangers. The girl dressed in all black crouches down in front of me, her dark eyes, which are illuminated in the pale moonlight, are full of worry, and affection.

"Do you really not recognise me?" She whispers, sounding hurt.

"No, I don't, I'm sorry," I say, feeling bad for the girl. "Am I meant to know you?"

"Yes, I'm Wednesday Addams."

I don't recognise her name, or her face.

"That's an odd name."

"Well, that's an improvement on the first time we met, last time you just made fun of it."

"Oh, I'm sorry."

The look in her eyes changes and the concern is minimised as a look of pure love replaces it. This only confuses me more. She stands back up and holds her hand out to help me up. I take it and she helps me to my feet. I'm slightly shaky and my knees threaten to give way, she puts her arm around me which helps keep me steady.

"Let's get you back inside then we can talk more, okay?" She asks.

I nod my head, wondering where she was taking me. She starts to walk slowly through the woods. The tall women and blonde girl walk alongside us. We walk out of the trees and I instantly see a massive castle-like building, I can't believe the size of it. We continue to walk towards an entrance to one of the areas of the large site. The tall women then turns to walk in another direction.

"I'm going to go back to my office for the night, I'll come and visit you all tomorrow to check on what's going on," She says.

"Okay, we'll see you tomorrow," The blonde girl, I think her name was Enid, says.

The tall woman then leaves us and walks towards a separate entrance. Enid then turn to us.

"It's a full moon tonight, so I'm going to the lycan cages, just in case it finally happens tonight."

"Okay, I'll see you tomorrow then," Wednesday says.

Enid just smiles at her and walks in the opposite direction to us. Wednesday keeps walking and takes me up a staircase, then we walk down a corridor until we reach a door, she opens it and guides me inside. She walks me over to the bed in the middle of the room and sits me down on it. She sits next to me.

"How much can you remember?" She asks.

"I don't know, it's kind of weird, like I don't remember anything except Miss Thornhill, but I don't have any distinct memories of her, I just know that I really like her and trust her more than anyone, mainly because I don't know anyone else."

"So, you can't remember what happened last night?"

"No, I don't have any memories, like at all, I still don't actually know who you are, other than your name, and I still don't know where I am."
