Damien had been with his boyfriend Wayne for three years now, and he knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with him. He had been planning to propose for months, but every time he thought about it, he couldn't help but feel overwhelmed with nerves and doubt.

Sitting alone in his apartment, Damien stared at the ring box in his hand, his mind racing with different scenarios and possibilities. He wanted everything to be perfect for Wayne, but he was afraid of messing it up.

Just then, his phone buzzed with a text from Wayne's best friend Raj. They had become friends-ish over the years and Damien knew that Raj was the perfect eprson to ask for help.

'Hey man, what's up?' Raj's text read.

'Hey Raj, can I talk to you about something?' Damien replied, hoping Raj would agree to meet him.

'Ofc what's going on?' Raj replied.

'I need your help with something big' Damien typed, his fingers trembling.

'sursies ill be right over :)' Raj responded, knowing that something must be seriously bothering Damien.

A few minutes later, Raj arrived at Damien's apartment and found him pacing back and forth in the living room.

'Hey, what's wrong? You look like you're about to have a heart attack, eh,' Raj joked, trying to lighten the mood.

Damien let out a nervous chuckle. 'I guess that's because I am,' he said, gesturing towards the ring box on the coffee table.

Raj's eyes widened in surprise. 'Are you going to propose to Wayner?' he asked, a huge smile spreading across his face.

Damien nodded, his nerves getting the best of him. 'But I have no idea how to do it. I've been trying to plan something special, but I keep getting overwhelmed and doubting myself. I need your help, Raj.'

Raj's smile turned into a reassuring one as he put a hand on Damien's shoulder. 'Don't worry, I've got your back. Let's sit down and figure this out together- ohmygosh i cant believe wayners gonna get married before me.. bowie needs to hurry up ya'know, eh?.'

The two sat down on the couch, and Damien explained his ideas to Raj. They discussed different options and scenarios, going back and forth with ideas and suggestions.

'Okay, so how about this...' Raj said, outlining a plan that seemed perfect to Damien.

As they talked, Damien's nerves started to calm down and he began to feel more confident about his proposal. Raj was not only helping with ideas, but also giving him the support and encouragement he needed.

'Thank you, Raj. I couldn't have done this without you,' Damien said, feeling grateful for his friend's help.

'That's what friends are for, eh?' Raj replied, giving Damien a warm smile.

The day of the proposal arrived, and Damien was a bundle of nerves. He had followed Raj's plan to the tee, and everything was set up perfectly. He had even asked Wayne's family for their blessing beforehand.

As Wayne and Damien took a walk in the park, Damien stopped at a beautiful spot overlooking a lake. He took a deep breath and got down on one knee, pulling out the ring box.

'Wayne, I love you more than words can express. You make me a better person and I can't imagine my life without you. Will you do me the honor of being my husband?' Damien asked, his voice shaking with emotion.

Wayne's eyes widened in surprise and he let out a gasp. 'I thought you git down on your knee to give me a blowie but this is so much better-' Wayne mumbled and smiled at his boyfriend 'yes- yes I'll marry you, eh?" he exclaimed with a giggle streaming down his face.

As Wayne slipped the ring on his finger, Damien couldn't help but feel like the luckiest man in the world. He turned to see Raj, who had been hiding behind a tree, giving him a thumbs up and a big grin.

After the proposal, Wayne couldn't stop gushing about how perfect everything was, how wayne never saw it coming- and how amazing Damien's planning skills were. Little did he know, it was all thanks to his bestfriends help.
