Chapter 1: Waking Up

~Niall's POV~

I was getting real sick of this hospital food. I hadn't really left the hospital since Skyler was in the accident 1 month ago. She has been in a coma for the last 4 weeks. I was starting to think she would never wake up. She also had a broken arm that was almost healed now.

I'm such an idiot! It was my fault that Skyler had been in the accident. She was mad that night, upset with me because I freaking cheated. WHY did I even kiss Jenna? I immediately regretted it, but yet I still did it.

"Niall?" I was snapped out of my thoughts by Eleanor.

"Uh huh?" I said not looking up at her.

You see Eleanor and Skyler were bestfriends. They were like sisters. I met Skyler through Eleanor.

~FlashBack~

"Niall hurry up! Eleanor is going to be here any minute!" Louis said rushing me.

"Lou I coming! But I don't even see why I have to come, I mean I don't want to be third wheeling or anything so I will just stay here!" I said plopping my self on the couch.

DING DONG

"EL!" Louis screamed as he opened the door. I just rolled my eyes. "Hey Sky!" Louis said.

Sky? Who was Sky? I quickly got up from the couch and made my way to the door. I stopped, there in front of me was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen. She had long chocolate black hair that was a bit curly. Her eyes were breath taking, they were light brown and they were beautiful.

"I'm Niall." I said smiling at her. She smiled back. Her smile was amazing, and when her eyes locked with mine I felt something, something I have never felt before, but I liked the feeling.

"Skyler." She said What a beautiful name. I thought to my self. "Thanks." Did I just say that out loud? I looked over to Skyler who was smiling at Eleanor blushing.

"Shall we go!?" Louis asked.

"Yeah lets go!" Skyler said laughing. That made me laugh. her laugh was so cute, it was kind of like mine, but cuter.

"I think he likes you!" I heard Eleanor whisper to Skyler.

"Yeah maybe." Skyler said blushing as she looked over to me. I smiled and she blushed again and smiled back.

"Niall! Niall!" It was Eleanor, I completely forgot she was there, as I got lost in my thoughts thinking about Sky.

"Yes?" I asked her.

"Sky's doctors, they want to see us." she said.

"Really! Come on! Let's go!" I said as I ran out of the hospitals cafeteria. Eleanor was close behind me, I could tell she was having trouble keep up so I slowed down a bit.

Room 306.

I waited for Eleanor to catch up before I went in. I was scared, what were the doctors going to say? Will Sky be alright? I felt Eleanor grab and squeeze my hand. "Everything will be alright." she said smiling. I gave her a weak smile and nodded before we both walked in the room.

"Niall, Eleanor right?" The doctor asked as we walked in. We both nodded. "Well, we did some tests on Skyler here." he said

"Well?" I asked, I was a little annoyed how he was dragging the out a bit more than it need to be.

"She's going to be fine." He said.

"Oh my god." Eleanor said as a tear fell down her cheek. She looked at me and smiled. It feels like a HUGE weight has been lifted off my shoulders.
