After waiting for 20 minutes for the ambulance, they finally arrived at the hospital. Jake and Hayoon were taken in separate directions. Jake's mother received a call from the hospital about Jake being involved in an accident.
"Is this Mrs. Shin? Jake's mother?"
"Yes, it's me. Why?"
"Can you come to the hospital now? Your son has been in an accident."
Jake's mom immediately sat down on the floor in shock. Mrs. Shin quickly rushed to the hospital.
3 HOURS LATER
"Jake's condition is not fully stable yet, he has some internal injuries that will recover soon... but we can't determine when he'll regain consciousness. I hope you can be patient and stay calm until your son wakes up."
"My son won't be in a coma, right? He'll wake up soon, won't he?"
"I'm sorry, ma'am, I can't guarantee that. But may I ask you something?"
"Yes?"
"Do you know someone named Hayoon?"
"Hayoon? "
"We found Jake with a girl named Hayoon, they had an accident at the same place and in the same car."
"Where is that girl now?"
"Miss Hayoon is currently under sedation as she also suffered severe injuries."
Mrs. Shin went to Hayoon's room and approached her.
"Who are you? What are you doing with my son? How did you end up in an accident with him?"
Mrs. Shin spoke angrily inside, crying out of anger. She blamed Hayoon for the entire accident and she believed that Hayoon was the cause of the accident.
"I'll make sure your life is a living hell after you wake up."
JAKE AND HAYOON'S CONDITION UPDATES :
📌Jake: Unconscious for several weeks, got some injuries on his back head, face, and body.
📌 Hayoon: Right arm's broken, will take about 3 months to recover. Can't walk stable and relies on her cane. Got a big cut on her left shoulder. Might wake up in a few days.

Jake and Hayoon's friends also arrived at the hospital after knowing about them. Jake's mom approached Yoora and Jiyeong.
"Are you Jake's friends?"
"Yes, but we're just classmates."
"Oh, so you both must be friends with Hayoon, right?"
"Yes ma'am, are they both okay?"
"Hopefully... But, can I ask you both something?"
Yoora and Jiyeong looked at each other.
"Yes?"
"Before the accident, did anything happen between them or do they have any kind of relationship?"
Jiyeong didn't want to answer and gave signaled to Yoora to answer Mrs.Shin question.
"Actually-"
"It's okay, just tell me, I won't get mad."
"Today our class had a party for those born in November. At that time, Jake got into a fight with another guy."
"Why did they fight?"
Yoora sighed, afraid that Jake's mom will be angry with Hayoon.
"They fought because of Hayoon."
"So, that girl is the cause of all this?"
"But, Hayoon is not entirely at fault..."
"It's okay, you two don't need to explain anything more, and it's true what I thought. The girl named Hayoon is the cause of their accident."
"But, we don't know what caused their accident. I hope you don't blame Hayoon entirely."
Mrs. Shin just smiled and returned to Jake's room. Jake's mother's face looked angry and serious. Hojun, Kyojin, and Woohan bowed to Jake's mother after seeing Mrs. Shin enter Jake's room.
"Jake's friends?"
"Yes, ma'am."
"I want to ask you guys a favor."
"What's that?"
"You all must know Hayoon, right?"
"Yeah, we know her."
"Don't let her meet Jake, even if she begs in front the door. Don't let her in."
Hojun, Kyojin, and Woohan looked at each other, surprised by Mrs. Shin's request.
"Got it?"
"Yeah, we got it, ma'am."
Mrs. Shin left. She didn't want to stay with Jake at the hospital because she had more important works to do.
"But why isn't Jake's mom stay with him at the hospital? Isn't that what a mom should do for her child? "
"Don't you remember? Jake told us they aren't close at all, and his mom is overly controlling in his life."
"Oh, I remembered it now."
"But isn't it too cruel to do that to Hayoon?"
"I also feel it's too harsh. What if Jake wants to meet her?"
"We should at least let them meet once."
"Uh, how did they get into accident tho?"
"I think they must had a fight at that time because of Woojin. That stupid guy."
"Gosh makes sense, I hope Jake's mom doesn't find out about that."
"Wanna go visit Hayoon?"
"Let's go visits her tomorrow"
