It had been 1 hour since the party started and I was already feeling dizzy. I wasn't gonna drink but hearing that jaden said the reason of us breaking up wasn't important hurt.

Jayla-girl I didn't know you were drinking tonight

Nova-yea I changed my mind last minute
I say shrugging and continued drinking

Jayla-I think Jaden's been looking for you

Nova-cool
I say with no emotion

Jayla-is everything ok?

Nova-yea I'm fine I think I'm just gonna go dance
I say walking away

I started dancing to the music and suddenly felt someon tap on my shoulder

Brady-hey nova

Nova-hey Bradyyy
I say laughing

Brady-yk I didn't take you you for the type of girl who drank

Nova-I'm not but I'm mad so yk hahaha

Brady-oh did something happen between you and jaden?

Nova-yuppppp
I say smiling

Brady-oh im sorry nova is ther any way I can help?

Nova-yesss dance with meeeeee
I say grabbing his arm and pulling him closer

JADEN POV

I had finally came back from picking up my friend and his girlfriend and I decided to look around for nova and found her dancing with Brady...

Jaden-why is she dancing with him??
I ask Javon getting upset

Javon- I don't know man she's drunk

Jaden-what no nova said she wasn't drinking tonight

Javon-well she's been giggling and dancing so

Jaden-ok then

Javon-here have a cup
Javon says passing me one

Jaden-nah im not drinking tonight
I say pushing the cup away

Javon-what why not?

Jaden-I'm gonna take care of nova just in case she needs help

Javon-aww look at you being a good boyfriend

Javon says before hearing someone clear their throat from behind me

Ava-hey jaden
Ava says smiling

Jaden-what do you want

Ava-I just wanted to talk, how's your summer going

Jaden-fine
I say shrugging and keeping an eye on nova

Ava-do you wanna dance

Jaden-no I'm good

Ava-oh cmon it's not like novas gonna care she's off dancing with that Brady boy

She says getting closer and rubbing my shoulder

Jaden-I said no ok

Ava-I don't see why not. Nova clearly doesn't like you if she's off dancing with other boys

She says making me look at her smirking

NOVAS POV

I was dancing with Brady and I turned around and saw Jaden and Ava talking....Ava had her rubbing jaden shoulder and he was looking down at her...

Nova-excuse me Brady I gotta do something
I say walking away

I went to the bathroom and splashed water on my face and drank some to help me sober up. I wasn't too drunk I just felt a little wobbly but I still knew everything that was going on. I walked out of the bathroom and seen Ava flirting with jaden and I had finally had enough
