Chapter 1- In the beginning

In days from long ago, in uncharted regions, the legend of Voltron began. The story of Voltron, the defender of the universe, has been a tale that many galaxies have carried throughout, to inspire hope to many planet systems. Mostly to those affected of Planet Doom and their empire. Many a battle have happen as Voltron, fights the evil forces of King Zarkon, and his son, Prince Lotor. As the secret and legend of Voltron travel through the galaxy, the Planet from where Voltron emerges, Planet Arus has slowly been rebuilding. King Zarkon despises Arus, and its late King Alfor, for creating Voltron. Upon the creation of Voltron, a new hope swept the father regions of space. Arus was then established, as a member of the Galaxy Alliance.

Arus was always a peaceful planet. Their rich soils and renowned scholars were prized among the galaxy. They developed, and engineered medical breakthroughs. Thus, Arus itself was prized. Many things happened along the way to the poor people of Arus. Good King Alfor was assassinated, and communication with Arus ceased. Fearing the worse, the Galaxy Alliance, retreated to gain forces until word would come through of Alfor's heir. Many years passed before such thing happened.

Commander Keith, Lieutenant Sven, Lieutenant Lance, Corporal Hunk, and Special Agent Pidge were returning from a mission to Balto when they were dispatched to help aide Allura, Princess of Planet Arus, in her quest for peace. The secret of Voltron was entrusted only to them. Time and Time again the Voltron Force foiled King Zarkon's plan for total domination of the galaxy. Zarkon wounded Voltron temporarily, by severely injuring Lieutenant Sven. All hope seemed lost. Dreading the worst, Princess Allura, joined the force of Voltron. There she has remained, giving hope to the people of Arus.

Many a time the Princess risked her life in the name of her beloved people. Prince Lotor of Doom, developed an unhealthy obsession with Allura, and was determined to make Allura his at all costs. With the help of the Witch Haggar, Both Zarkon and Lotor attacked Arus mercilessly; sending robeasts upon robeasts to Arus, to enslave the good people of Arus. In his quest, Lotors' many unsuccessful attempts to capture Allura drove him insane with envy and power. Finally, Princess Allura fed up with the constant threat that Lotor and Zarkon organized an offensive strategy to fend them off once and for all. With the help of the Galaxy Alliance, the twin Planet of Arus, Pollux, and many other rouge planets joined forces to rid the galaxy of Zarkon and his minions. The joint effort was of great success. King Zarkon was taken into custody. However, both Haggar and Prince Lotor escaped without a trace. Many wonder if they will ever show their faces again.

The restoration of peace within the galaxy was well on its way. Four and half years have passed since that fateful day. Though stories of Prince Lotor are still being told about, the Voltron Force still exists, and peace has been brought to Arus. If only for this short period of time.....

On this day, Coran, the Princess's advisor is meeting with Allura. A matter in which he has dreaded, but now the time has come. Princess Allura must wed. Coran had arranged for suitors to come to Arus to try to win her heart. Coran had instructions from late King Alfor to ensure that Allura take the throne by her 21st birthday. However, due to the chaos that was still on Arus had postponed it. He could not and would not delay this any further. Finally the Princess was in a good position to take her throne. There were less and less trips out of Arus and she was able to focus more on her studies. Taking into account the friendship that he made with the men of the Voltron force he included them.

"Good Morning Everyone, please take your seats" Coran came into the room and demanded the attention. Coran looking about sees that the Princess is not there yet, "Has anyone seen the Princess this morning. I cannot start without her." As in on cue, Allura enters the council chamber.
