Marion had climbed partially up the filled chamber, the water rising and sloshing furiously at her boots. She held the lantern overhead, trying to maximize the waning light and not get dizzy from lack of oxygen.
"INDY!"
He rose out of the water, spitting silt and shaking his head to get his hair out of his eyes. "Got her, Marion!"
He patted Emily's back, treading water as the waves rose around him. "Em?"
Terror filled his eyes as he stared up at Marion. "She's not breathing!"
