Chapter One

In the active halls of Crestwood High School, two boys stood out from the crowd—Will, the loner hothead with a troubled past, and Nathaniel, the popular kid with a charismatic demeanour. Their paths had crossed countless times, not in friendship, but in heated arguments and physical altercations.

Will's journey through middle school had been marred by relentless bullying. The scars from those years manifested in his guarded personality and a reputation for being quick-tempered. Despite his solitary nature, Will possessed a fiery determination to stand up for himself, even if it meant facing the school's perfect golden boy, Nathaniel Holt.

Nathaniel, on the other hand, was admired by many. His charm, good looks, and athletic prowess made him a sought-after figure in the social hierarchy of Crestwood High. Yet, beneath the facade of popularity, Nathaniel grappled with his own struggles and insecurities.

The friction between Will and Nathaniel was evident to everyone at Crestwood. Their disagreements ranged from petty arguments in the classroom to heated clashes on the sports field. The school buzzed with speculation about what fueled the animosity between the two, but the truth lay hidden beneath layers of pride and misunderstanding.

One fateful day, a chemistry project forced Will and Nathaniel to work together. Reluctantly, they found themselves paired up, facing the challenge of collaborating despite their differences. As they were working on the project, Nathaniel kept bugging Will even though they have to work together for a perfect grade. Will always wanted to beat Nathanial in everything but he failed relentlessly. ,,Will you stop being so fucking annoying?" said Will as he started to get annoyed, Nathanial looked at Will and said, ,,no, and what if i don't stop you gonna do something about it?" Will glared at Nathanial for a few seconds and then he turned back to finish the chemistry project. Some hours passed and Will finished the so called "Team project" while Nathanial was watching TikTok. ,,I finished the project "Shitaniel" Will said looking over at Nathanial who was on his phone. ,, Yeah yeah, whatever dumbass" said Nathanial ,, I am going to head home now shitface." to that Will said ,,Fuck off slut" as Nathanial was leaving the house. After Nathanial left Will went up to his bedroom to get some rest. The next day, Will went up to the chemistry  teacher to give in the chemistry project. The teacher asked Will did they really work together, and will told the teacher that they did all of that together, lying to the teacher, and then Will returned to his seat. Nathanial was late to class as always but the teacher always doesn't give a fuck because he was the schools "golden boy". Nathaniel went near Will just to annoy him again like always. ,,Fuck off Nathanial" said Will glancing over at Nathanial who is laughing because he can't take Will seriously, Will saw that Nathanial was laughing at him and he got even more annoyed that he threw a chair at Nathanial, Nathanial dodged the chair last second and Will was sent to the councils office for trying to harm a student. Will didn't get a suspension because the council listened to Wills story, and as always Nathanial got away with it. 2 classes passed and Will went out in the hallway to find Nathanial with a mad looking expression on his face. Will just walked past him side eyeing him and telling him ,, What's up with that fugly expression on your fugly face?" Nathanial heard him very cleary and he grabbed him by his arm and pulled him facing Will. ,, What the fuck did you just say to me?" said Nathanial in an annoyed tone. ,,I said you're fugly." said Will back to Nathanial, after Will said that, Nathanial punched Will in the stomach (damn) ,, Say that again cum-slut!" The chemistry teacher heard Nathanial and saw the commotion and quickly ran up to them both. ,,What in the world are you doing Nathanial!" said the chemistry teacher. Nathanial quickly looked up to the teacher saying he didn't do anything and it was obvious he was straight lying to the teacher, so the teacher sent him to the principals office and the principal didn't even wanna hear the story so the principal suspended Nathanial for 2 weeks. Will was sent home to get some rest, when Will came home he immediately went to his room to sleep. ( To be continued )
