Your POV

'It was a gloomy morning day, as I made my way to the office, today the boss would be around all day so it would be a little challenging, you know what they say working in a law firm requires a lot of energy and brain and that's why I was chosen among the others to work with the famous Hiromi Higuruma, to be honest, I never knew who he was nor never saw him around so technically this will be my very first time meeting to face him face since I got enrolled, I most know him from the rumors how talented and smart he was and pretty powerful than an average lawyer, the closer I am the more anxious I get but then I notice a church "has this church has been around here?" I as myself and decided to make my way inside since my friends always told me going to the booth and opening up helps and I always liked the art of the church so I said fuck and entered and made my way to the confession booth and sat down waiting,'

5 minutes later

"I apologize for being late," says a tired male voice hearing the thud of him sitting down on the other side having a wooden wall hiding both our identities,

"No need to apologize, sir, I just sat down too for a short time" you assure the person on the other side still feeling anxious and nervous,

"Is everything alright miss? I sense that you are very anxious," the man says with a calm tone,

"Yeah, I am a little anxious and decided to come here to open up a little before I head to work," you say looking down and feeling your legs shake,

"I see well let's start shall we!" the man says as you hear him adjust, "I am the father and I will be the one to hear about your sins and mischievous" he continued,

"Father I am mostly here because I want to open up about meeting my boss for the first time," you say opening up overthinking every little thing about the situation and hating the curse of being a perfectionist feeling like the meeting should be the perfect one that will impress the famous lawyer,

"Oh is he a bad boss?" Father asks being curious about your situation,

"I don't think so and I'm not quite sure all I know is the rumors did make him look a little difficult" you respond calmly trying not to expose anything from your job to keep your identity safe,

"Fear not," Father says, "This boss of yours won't be hard work if you keep a distance from him until you warm up to him" he reassures you, "as long as you keep a good job by being showing him your intelligence and it seems you're new to that workplace judging from your anxiety" he chuckles after the last sentence making you calm down a little and laugh a little with him feeling at ease,

"Yeah, and it felt like an eternity of fighting to get that position but thank god, I was able to maintain it," you say feeling eased up and smiling each second remembering the hard work you give,

"Well, there you have it!" Father exclaimed hearing him clap his hand, "I see that you are warming up and are ready," he announces

Hearing the father's words did help you, and opening up lowered your anxiety which made you smile to yourself and ready to face everyone with confidence no matter the hardship given to you, you were ready,"

"Thank you, Father," I gratefully say and look at my watch and notice that I might be a little late, "I must go I don't want to be late and give a bad impression," you say chucking softly while getting up,

"Then I hope you be there as early as possible," He says getting up too, "Until we meet again!" he finishes making you nod and leave the confession walking fast not looking behind you,

Your pov:

I own my friend one she was right the confession booth did help, the more steps I take the more I mentally prepare myself for everything while walking as fast as I can and looking at my watch each second hurrying and cursing because the day I meet the boss I didn't the subway but it's not a problem anymore I see that I'm getting close and saw my favorite coworker outside smoking, looking tired as always,
