ALEX SAT NEAR THE SHORE AS THE SUN SET, WATCHING IT. THE
beautiful colors of the brazil sky shined onto her now golden and sunkissed skin, her eyes mesmerized.tooru oikawa came and sat next to her, shirtless from his days activities. she didn't look away from the sunset, captivated. he chuckled at her, thinking she looked cute.
"have you never seen a sunset before?"
"well, duh, but.. i don't know, i don't think i've seen one this beautiful before. i've never left japan so just sitting here is surreal." she smiled, admiring her view. he smiled at her, examining her features.
"how are you doing lexi?" this made her lose focus, turning her head to look at him. they made contact, a light dusting of pink spreading over her already burnt cheeks. he searched her face for some emotion, a small smile on his lips.
"i'm, okay. i'm good right now. life just sucks sometimes i guess." she looked away, going back to the colorful sky. "how about you, how're you doing tooru? how's things?"
he nodded, "things are good, i'm good. it's nothing like japan here." she nodded, agreeing.
"it's so beautiful, you're so lucky to live here."
"i agree, though i miss home." he leaned back on his elbows, feet outstretched into the tide. she looked, following his stance and leaning back.
"maybe you should come visit sometime. your family would probably like you home, especially since holidays are coming and everything." he looked at her, smiling.
"do you miss me?" she looked over, pouting a bit.
"oikawa, i haven't felt like that since high school." she smiled apologetically, eyes creasing. "don't get me wrong, you're so much more attractive then you were before but, that stupid little crush is long gone."
"that's funny because all i asked was if you missed me." he smiled smirking at her, eyes half lidded. she went to say something, not knowing what to reply. "exactlyyyy."
"oh shut up tooru." she laughed, oikawa joining in. silence fell for a few moments, both looking back at the view. "hey, did you ever.. tell anyone?"
he whipped his head to her, raising an eyebrow. "about that? just iwa."
"why the hell did you remember so quick." she gave him a wary look, squinting. "and iwa has a big mouth, he literally mentioned it like the first day i met these people." kawa shrugged, smiling at her.
"hey, i don't control him. i can admit i shouldn't of told him, but it's just hajime. and why wouldn't i remember? that was like a key time in my life." she stared at him, getting a bit dazed.
he looked over at her, tilting his head to the side with a smile. she smiled, blushing. "would you help me with something?" he raised an eyebrow in response, letting her know to continue. "help me make sakusa jealous, please."
"so you actually have interest in him? damn, i mean, anything for a friend."
"we've been talking and shit for awhile, but, he's messing with my feelings. i want him, and i'm pretty sure that he wants me, so i just need some help reeling him in and making him wanna try more, y'know?" she looks at him, smiling.
"like i said," he stood up, helping her as well. "anything for a friend." he winked, making her roll her eyes with a smile.
he pulled her up quickly, pulling her into a tight hug.
"it was really nice seeing you lexi. come see me while you're here, i mean it. and text me so i can help you with that." she nodded, giving his embrace back.
"it was nice seeing you too tooru. i'll text you, i swear. have a good night, okay?" he nodded, wishing her the same with a charming smile before walking away to his friend group as they packed up.
she giggled to herself, crossing her arms over her body and looking back to the ocean sky. the sun was mostly gone now, making her walk to her camp and pack up.
sakusa sat with atsumu on the bumper of the truck, talking with his friend. he had watched alex interact with the notoriously annoying oikawa all day and he was over it.
"why is she even bothering with him he's actually a total fucking douchebag." atsumu chuckled at his friends anger, patting his shoulder.
"there, there, my friend. we all get jealous sometimes." sakusa turned to him, frowning.
"i'm not jealous. just.. don't think she should be talking to him." he huffed, getting off the bumper. "i'll be waiting in the car."
that night, everyone conversed in the living room as they ate their dinner.
"this," atsumu spoke with a full mouth. "is really fucking good."
"dude my mouth is orgasming from this." osamu replied to his twin practically moaning.
"we should throw a party while we're here." hinata spoke up, a few nodding in agreement.
"yeah and see how many hot girls we can get to come." atsumu nudged his brother, both giggling like little girls. alex rolled her eyes, clearing her throat. they both looked at her, immediately growing quiet.
"you guys are gross." she laughed, standing with her plate. "let me know when you're throwing it so i can leave for the day."
"hey! you're supposed to be spending time with us, not anyone else. plus our parties are fun, you'll be missing out." atsumu gloated, alex just smiling at him.
"yeah i think i'll pass." he pouted, alex going into the kitchen to throw her things away.
