Ella's P.O.V

Today is going to be great a new start in college. This day is going to be great because I get to see Luke again! I haven't seen him since before his holiday in The Caribbean. Wow he's lucky I stayed here in L.A all summer. It was one of the sunniest summers here.

I woke up this morning looking like a bush with arms and legs. It was not a good start but I've had worse. I jumped in the shower and washed my scruffy hair. After, I put a black and white dress on. I didn't want makeup on because I would sweat and it would all drip down my face because it was too warm. I ate some toast and went on the bus to school.

"Luke!!"

"El!!"

"I've missed you so much!!"

"I have too! I've got a top for you from Spain."

"Really thanks. So how was it did u meet anyone?"

"No...but I met a cat." We both laughed and got out of the bus.

Luke's P.O.V

I woke up feeling drowsy as always. I did my daily exercise to wake me up
and ate breakfast. Next I put a T shirt on and some shorts.

I then went to the bus and saw Ella, wow she looked beautiful and different. I was gonna make her jump but she noticed me already. We both had a chat. While we were talking I realised how much I missed her cute smile and her funny personality.

When we got to school I saw someone familiar. Wait is that...John?! What is he doing here he's supposed to be in California working. I tried to ignore him or else he will be all nosey and that.

"Luke why are we sneaking?"

"Uhh...because walking is old."

"Really?"

"Yeah it's the new thing."

"Then why is no one else doing it smart boy?"

"Because..."

"I know when you are lying Luke and I think it's happening right now."

"Fine then. My brother form California is here and he is so annoying."

"Why exactly?"

"Well, he gets all in my business and embarrasses me."

"Ok but this plan won't work because we are too obvious."

"So what should we do then?"

"Come here." Ella grasped my wrist and lead me to a bush. We then walked behind int to school. Phew! At least I've got a clever best friend who can be there by my side.
