Chapter 12

-> Okay sorry it's been so long since I updated!

But here is a recap of what happened between Mandy and Bella:

"I know what you are trying to do, and it has to stop. Now." She said, agitated.

"And what exactly am I trying to do?" I asked, placing a hand on my hip.

"You're trying to steal Chris! For your information, Chris and I have been dating for almost one and a half years now."

"That's greaaat, but I could care less. I'm not trying to break you and Chris up, I'm just having conversations with him like a normal, friendly person." I snapped. Who does she think she is, thinking I'm trying to break them apart. Okay so maybe I'm not happy about them dating, but I care about Chris enough now that I don't want to ruin his love life, I just to be apart of it.

Mandy them suddenly grasped me by the collar and slammed me against the wall.

"You keep your hands off Chris, or I will tell him how you are so madly in love with him, and how desperately hard you are trying to break us apart."

I shoved her off of me. "Don't touch me. Fine, tell Chris whatever you want."

"I will, because he trusts me." Mandy snapped.

"He trusts you? Here you are, standing here staying that Chris, the one you love and have been dating for one and a half years, trusts you, right before you go and lie to him? You know you don't deserve Chris, you are just toying with him, and someday you are going to hurt him. And when you do, I will personally slap that ridiculously fake smile off your face." I said, chucking my paper towel into the garbage.

"He's deserves someone better than you." I said, leaving the bathroom.

"Like you?" She snorted.

-> Don't forget Bella told Chris about everything that went on in the bathroom!

CHRIS' POV

Okay, this is the day I'm going to do it.

It had been a week since I last saw Bella and when she told me everything Mandy did.

Mandy and I have been dating for awhile now. We've had great times and I love her. But what Bella told me about Mandy kept crossing my mind every time I thought about her.

I moved the silver ring back and forth between my finger tips.

My mind went back to the day Bella and I went for a walk to the lake. Everything was perfect about that day, including Bella.

There was a sudden knock on my door and I jumped, almost dropping the ring.

"Come in." I sighed.

"Hey, Chris." Lisa said, popping her head in the doorway.

"Hey ma."

"What's on your mind? You seem a bit off?"

"It's just, I want to propose to Mandy, but there is something holding me back. I think it's what Bella said, and I think it's just Bella in general. I don't know what's going on."

"It's clear to me you have to pick what's important in your life. Bella, she's a great girl, but would you be willing to throw away your time and love with Mandy for some girl you've known for a month? But after everything Bella told you about Mandy snapping at her in the bathroom, it could be the insight about Mandy that you never had, that could help you make that decision. If Bella has become a special person in your life, then it's something you will have to think about."

"Yeah, I guess you're right. Thanks mom." I said, getting up to give her a peck on the cheek before racing out the door.

I hopped in my car, ready to reach my life-changing destination.

I pulled out of the driveway, and turned out of the neighborhood.

I stopped at a floral shop on the way, picking up the sweetest smelling roses I could find.

I sped out of the parking lot, not worrying about putting my seatbelt on, because the sooner I got there, the better.

The flowers fell on the ground of the car, so I leaned down to pick them up, when I felt the car skid from a sudden impact that released the air bag open and the drivers door was sent flying open.

I felt my body touch the warm outside air, as I hit the pavement, and everything went black.
