"Come on Draco! Hurry up!" Harry complained from the door frame.

"I'm just finishing putting my makeup on!" Draco said as he blended his foundation.

"We're just going on a date and you look divine bare-faced, sweetheart."

He huffed as he drew his eyeliner, Harry had said that three times already. "And I look even better with it! Stop being so whiny, we're not late for the reservation or anything. We're walking there, it's not like we can get stuck in the middle of traffic or anything!"

"But I'm hungry!" Harry whined like a child.

"You know what that sounds like?" Draco smirked as he turned his face to appreciate his own work in the mirror.

He got better at the subtle makeup look every day. He smirked as he looked for some silver jewellery. He put on a long chain necklace, and a few cheap rings and then, decorated his ears with small earrings. One of them was a silver heart his boyfriend had given him and Draco smiled.

"Hum?"

"A you problem."

Harry sighed audibly and Draco laughed. He loved teasing his boyfriend. He glanced at him leaning against the doorframe. He was wearing a hand-knitted red jumper, a black jacket and a pair of blue jeans. Harry was staring at his boots, clearly throwing a silent tantrum just like a little child.

"I'm done, no need to pout like that," he said, placing his lips softly against Harry's.

"You're such a tease sometimes," Harry rolled his eyes as a grin spread across his features.

"You love it, Potter." He smiled. "Now let's get going."

Draco put on his black shoes, the same colour as everything else in his outfit. He grabbed his coat and scarf as he looked at himself in the mirror by the entrance. The colour suited him so well, dyeing his hair black was the best decision he had ever made.

"Do you have your keys?"

"Yup, I grabbed them when you were doing your makeup," Harry replied, not even checking his pockets.

They left their home, closing the door behind them and running down the stairs. They lived in a very old building, so they didn't have the option to take the lift; there was none. Draco didn't mind it though, since the rent was so much cheaper than newer buildings. He wasn't sure if they could afford to live in the middle of the city if it was any different.

They left the building and he took in the environment around them as soon as he stepped outside. The street was busy with people; some couples were walking slowly hand in hand, while others half ran to wherever their destination was. There was also the growing loud noise of the cars' motors and honkings that came from one of the main avenues of the city, not too far away from where they were.

Thankfully, their street was rather quiet, which Draco very much enjoyed. No cars allowed, only pedestrians and a couple of trees which meant that at night, when they were trying to fall asleep, no honk—the single most annoying thing in the fucking world—was loud enough to really bother them.
