Chapter 21

Ple wanted to know what Payu could do after her confession, so when Payu took her boyfriend away for a private talk, she followed them and remained outside to listen to their conversation. She really didn't expect Payu to reveal everything so easily, a part of her believed that he was doing all this just to make Rain quit, so that they could be together, but while her heart was completely delusional, her brain analyzed the way Payu was talking and immediately realized the sadness in Payu's words after Rain misunderstood his intentions.

Hearing Rain's footsteps, Ple rapidly left before her boyfriend could find her. She looked at Rain from afar, noticing the clear rage on his face, his suspicions on Payu were right after all, he was just an arrogant show off, those were all the evidences he needed to condemn him. Ple realized that she had to tell Rain the truth about her feelings, since jealousy wasn't working, she had to find other strategies to get to Payu, so Rain's usefulness had run its course.

A few hours later, while Payu was in his bedroom alone, thinking about the mess he had just caused, Ple found the courage needed to address Rain. Even though she just meant to use him as a tool to make Payu jealous, now she felt guilty for Rain's pain, however she knew that the only way to help him was to end their relationship for good.

"Rain, we need to talk" Ple said with a guilty tone as she opened the door of he guestroom. Rain turned to her and smiled brightly.

"Oh, everyone wants to talk to me today, what is it?" Rain asked.

"I think you deserve to know the truth... I like Payu, I've always liked him. You were right when you called yourself a second choice, however now I realize that I don't have the right to make you suffer just because it can make me feel slightly better..." Ple started.

"Wh... what..."

"Yes, you were right, I've always loved him and I never moved on. I hope you will forgive me one day for this..." Ple added and sat down, covering her face ashamed. Rain looked at her with wide eyes, for some reason he couldn't care less about her, he felt like her apology wasn't sincere at all, he felt guilty for accusing Payu like that, while he was actually telling the truth.

"Where is Payu?" Rain asked resolutely.

"No, don't do anything stupid, please..." Ple begged, fearing that Rain could become violent. Surely Payu would have knocked him out in a matter of seconds, but that wasn't the matter.

"I must apologize to him..." Rain replied.

"What?"

"Yes, because he told me the truth about you and I said he was an arrogant bastard for telling me that you still loved him, I said that because no matter how terribly you treated me I trusted you! And this is what I got in return! Where is he!?" Rain shouted with tears flowing from his eyes.

"In his room... I heard Som complaining about it..." Ple responded.

Rain left and went to Payu's room, he knocked several times until Payu finally opened the door.

"Oh, Rain... what may I do for y-"

"I'm sorry, you were right, Ple doesn't love me... I suppose you were sincere when you said that you just didn't want to see me suffer... right?"
