Part 7

A/N: IM SO SO SO SO SORRY FOR THE LONG WAIT <3

We were finally at the stage where the final show would be held. Dash was checking mics while I sat on the speaker.

"Testing Testing-!" Her voice echoed throughout all of the speakers and a high pitched ringing caused everyone to plug their ears. I hopped off the speaker and sat next to Fluttershy who was tuning her tambourine. 

"This doesn't make any sense. We were awful. Doesn't anybody else think it's strange that we're the ones that made it to the finals?" 

"Very strange." We all heard Trixies voice and we all looked over to our right where she was standing with her two other group members. All of us either rolled our eyes or glared at the three of them. 

"What are you doing here Trixie?" I said with pure disgust in my voice 

"Pretty sure the losers are supposed to be up there in the cheap seats." Dash said, finishing my sentence. 

"The Great and Powerful Trixie is the most talented girl at Canterlot High." Trixie placed a hand on her hip while her other hand remained in the air for dramatic affect while she spoke. 

"It is I who deserves to be in the finals. And I will not be denied!" With a snap of her fingers, one of her bandmates was pulling a level and suddenly we all felt the floor fall out from under us. Trixie looked down into the underground compartment where we all had fallen and gave us a sickening smile.

"See you never~" And just as soon as she'd said her evil goodbye, the door slammed shut. 

"SHOOT!! GUYS WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO?!" I exclaimed in a panic. Everyone seemed to all have the same question while we all looked around at each other.  Rainbow Dash sat next to me and lightly played with strands of my hair. We were all loudly talking trying to figure out how to get out from underneath the stage. Rarity had tried to use the door but it was locked from the outside.

"The show is supposed to start in one hour!" Applejack said as she rubbed her temples trying to drown out all of our voices. Suddenly Rainbow Dash stopped playing with my hair and stood up.

"Guys! I have a totally awesome idea" We all stared at her with confusion until she decided to body slam into the door. 

"If I keep at it, I'll totally get it to budge" She spoke with a confident voice. Dash kept trying to body slam into the door while I walked over to my sister. She sat in front of me and I started to braid her hair out of boredom. 

"Dash, I think you should stop, you're gonna bruise your arm" I said with concern. 

"Don't worry about it babe, I'll be fine!" As she flashed me a smile.

We've been underground for the whole hour and now Trixies band was performing. Dash kept trying to open the door with brute force but it still wouldn't budge. 

"Give it up, Rainbow Dash. You've been tryin' at this for hours. It's not gonna open." Applejack said with an annoyed tone. 

"Maybe it doesn't even matter that we're trapped down here. I don't think the counter-spell would have worked anyway." Twilight honestly sounded so upset, and she was sitting in a corner. 

"Of course it would have worked, Twilight. Assumin' a certain band member didn't try to hog the spotlight the whole time we were tryin' to play it!" Applejack glared at Rainbow Dash who was now rubbing her arm from ramming into the door for the past hour.
