Third Person's POV
Cage's long, hasty stride echoed along the basement hallway of the mansion, walking straight up to the far end of the hall. He held the cold door handle, which creaked as soon as he pushed it open. As he entered the room, his eyes screamed imminence. Inside the cold, dark room, with only one lamp hanging against the ceiling which unable to light the wide space, leaving the other part in the dark, found a man sitting on the cold metal chair, his hands tied tightly behind his back.
"Who the fuck are you?! Let me out of this shit before I chop off your head!"
The man screamed while he was still unable to see the whole face of Cage since he was standing with the light behind his back. Cage's lips formed a sinister smile.
"You are in no position to be acting like an ass here, Ronnie. Long time no see."
Cage's deep rasp voice, seemed to have made the room more chilly than it already was. Ronnie's eyebrows furrowed as he squinted his eyes, trying to see Cage's face.
"Who the fuck? I don't even know you."
Ronnie responded, confused, still trying to see the face before him. Cage pulled out a lighter and lit it up in front of him, showing his face to Ronnie, who still looked as confused as before.
"Just who the hell are you!? Your face doesn't ring a bell to me, you'll regret this stupid stunt of yours!"
Cage smirked at Ronnie's remarks. He shook his head as he walked towards the dark side of the room. Ronnie followed him with his eyes, and Cage appeared again, the light from the lamp shining on the other half of his face.
"This face you're staring at..."
Cage started as he lit the lighter once again and put a plastic over the fire.
"...is death."
He continued as the plastic begin to melt, Ronnie was caught off guard when Cage suddenly let the melting plastic drop over his face. The heat pressed against every nerve as his face contorted in pain, inhaling the nauseous smell of the burning plastic while spitting a string of curse words as he shut his eyes tightly.
When he heard Cage turning off the lighter, it gave him a moment of relief.
"What the hell was that for!? What do you want from me!?"
Ronnie shouted angrily in pain, every breath inhaling the toxic smell that lingered all over the room.
"For getting on my nerves, and I want you to— beg for death."
Cage whispered, and while the scorching pain was visible on Ronnie's face, he was able to laugh at Cage's comment.
"This fucker, don't you know who you're dealing with!?"
He winced, his wrist started to bleed from the instinctive, desperate need to free himself the moment the searing pain took over.
"Oh, yes, you killed my poor grandma."
Cage lit up the lighter again, and realization rushed through Ronnie's head. What the group was saying is entirely true? We are hunted one by one, and that kid from before turns out to be Cage—the most dangerous mafia in the country. Ronnie thought as he swallowed his saliva.
"W-wait-ahhh!! Fuck that hur- AAHH!!"
Ronnie's helpless scream in agony echoed across the hallway of the basement. His body started to tremble, his knees felt numb, his body started sweating ghastly, and his face almost unrecognizable. The plastic had hardened over his face by now. His breath started to get stuffy as his head started to feel dizzy.
