The Glitch: Origins

*Scene opens to a man running through a facility holding a gun as something chases him. It looks to be a human being, but his form looks... Glitched... Like a video game bug...*

*The dialogue starts*

"See that glitched out entity? That's me. You're probably wondering how I got to this point, so let's back up, shall we?"

(Voiceover): Ah yes, working in a nuclear plant. The start of any good story.

*A figure walks in*

Voiceover: That's me.

*The figure is wearing a lab coat and glasses, and is carrying a folder.*

**Sfx: Door closing**

*We see the figure's face for the first time: it's Ᏽ̶͓̝̖̭̖̹̲̽̒̃̃̓̆̂̀̕�̴̧̢̢̘̹͇̲̰̭͉͓͍̣͊͒�̷͉͍̰͎͍̜͍̪̘͒͋ꝋ̷̗̺̜̱̖̘̠͚̙͙̖͈̩̙̐́̈̚ዪ̵̡̗̹̟̪̙̜̥̤̣̰̣͓̞̄̆́̈́̒͒͠Ᏽ̵̬̲͉͙̹͔̘̩͓̯͓̒͠�̷̡̣͚͓̐̓̀ͅ�̷̛͈̑̋̄̽́̎̊̔̋̀̿̓̕͝.!*

*He walks around and slips on some green goo*

Voiceover: Now, this is where it gets interesting.

*The green goo turns out to be some sort of liquid radiation, and soon his skin starts to glow...*

*He passes out and is hospitalized*

*We then cut to the hospital, where he is lying in a bed, a nurse by his side.*

Him: What happened to me...

*The nurse sighs.*

Nurse: You've been exposed to high levels of radiation...

*His skin burns, and his hair falls out.*

*His skin turns black, some would even call ot shadowy*

*The nurse looks worried.*

**Nurse:** I'm afraid your mutations are beginning...

*He seems scared, but also intrigued*

*He punched the air and out came a blast of energy*

*The nurse looks shocked.*

Nurse: So, you can shoot energy blasts?

*He nods. He tries to control it, but fails, and the energy blast disintegrates some of the furniture*

*A scientist comes in and tries to take him for studying, but the nurse beats him up*

*The scene cuts again, this time to a lab, where the scientists are studying him with various instruments.*

Where am I...

*He sees the nurse tied up*

*The scientists notice this. One of them speaks.*

Scientist: Ah, you're awake...

*He looks around, and then his eyes stop on the nurse. He breaks the ropes with his energy blast.*

Ᏽ̶͓̝̖̭̖̹̲̽̒̃̃̓̆̂̀̕�̴̧̢̢̘̹͇̲̰̭͉͓͍̣͊͒�̷͉͍̰͎͍̜͍̪̘͒͋ꝋ̷̗̺̜̱̖̘̠͚̙͙̖͈̩̙̐́̈̚ዪ̵̡̗̹̟̪̙̜̥̤̣̰̣͓̞̄̆́̈́̒͒͠Ᏽ̵̬̲͉͙̹͔̘̩͓̯͓̒͠�̷̡̣͚͓̐̓̀ͅ�̷̛͈̑̋̄̽́̎̊̔̋̀̿̓̕͝.: Run...

*The nurse runs out, as two of the scientists run towards him. They raise their guns, but he uses his energy blast to send them flying.*

*The moment one of them touch him, they glitch out and die*

*The other scientists shoot at it, but his energy blast is too powerful, and the bullets are deflected back at the scientists, killing them. The scientists' bodies glitch and turn into pixelated blocks.*

*It breaks out of the Facility, his body fully turning into something else*

*It looks at himself and is shocked. His skin is pitch black, and sharp claws protrude from his hands.*

*Soon, he loses sight of who he is. He no longer goes by his old name. He is now known as "The Glitch"*
