Akko and Diana were currently spending the day together in the town of Blytonbury, since they hadn't had much time to spend with one another due to their day-to-day obligations at Luna Nova. Thus, they vowed to have this day be dedicated to both each other and rest and relaxation.

"It's so pretty out here today!" Akko said, looking at the blue sky above her head.

"It certainly is, my love." Diana added. "I'd even say it's much better since you're here by my side."

The brunette blushed a bit after hearing that comment, making the prodigy witch smile at her victory. Akko then sighed.

"I'm gonna miss that when we're gone for summer vacation." She said. "I'll miss Luna Nova, our friends, Professor Chariot...and you."

"I'll miss you too, Akko, but the vacation won't last too long, dear. We'll see each other again eventually." said Diana.

The Japanese witch looked at her lover's sky blue eyes and smiled.

"Yeah, you're right." She'd say to her. "Besides, at least I won't be causing any more magical mishaps between now and then!"

The two witches shared a good laugh over that comment, then spotted the first place they wanted to go to: a bakery. However, what neither of them knew was that spying on them from the side of a building and around an alleyway was a person dressed in hunting attire covered in a black robe. The one thing to note about this guy was that he wasn't wearing just any old hunting outfit...it was a witch hunter's attire. Now as for why he was spying on Akko and Diana, that was because he was on a mission...that being to kill the both of them? Why, you may wonder? Because why the heck not? It's not like the plot matters in a crack-fic anyway. Anywho, he grinned a malicious grin as he watched the duo enter the aforementioned bakery.

"Soon, those two witch scum will be no more..." He said as he loaded up his crossbow.

Back with our two witchy leads, we see Diana drinking some green tea and having a few tarts, while Akko was gorging herself on donuts and cookies to her heart's delights. Now if this were months ago when the brunette first joined the academy, Diana would've been appalled at the eating mannerisms of the girl in front of her, but at this moment in time, she was used to it. Once the brunette was done, she drank from her cup of milk and patted her stomach in satisfaction.

"Those really did hit the spot." Akko sighed.

"Akko, you have crumbs all over your mouth." Diana rolled her eyes as she got a few napkins. "Allow me."

The mint-green/platinum blonde haired witch proceeded to wipe off the excess crumbs and milk stains off of her girlfriend's face, until it was nice and clean.

"Sorry about that, Diana. You know how much I love sweets." The brunette let out a nervous laugh.

"It's fine, Akko. Ordinarily, I'd be disgusted to see someone tear through food in such a..." Diana stopped to think of a fitting word. "...ravenous manner, but in your case, I won't lie in saying that it's a part of what makes you who you are."

"Gee, thanks." Akko blushed again, this time a bit harder.

After they were finished eating, the two witches exited the bakery, which gave the witch hunter his chance to fire those bows he loaded up earlier. Taking aim at Akko and Diana's hearts, he placed his finger on the trigger, waiting for the right time to pull it. After a mental countdown from 3, the trigger was pulled and the arrows went soaring through the air. Diana saw them coming, though, so she grabbed Akko and ducked for cover behind a bush as the arrows barely missed their intended targets and bounced off the bakery's window, now going off in a random direction.
