Raj had always thought he was straight. Growing up in a small town, he never really questioned his sexuality. But it wasn't until he met Bowie that he started to question everything he thought he knew about himself.

Bowie was different. He had an effortless coolness about him that drew Raj in. He was also kind, funny, and incredibly talented. Raj couldn't help but feel a little bit blushy and nervous whenever he was around Bowie.

They first met in their freshman year of high school. Raj was on the hockey team, and Bowie was on the art club. They were from two completely different worlds, but somehow they found themselves in the same English class. Raj couldn't help but stare at Bowie during class, admiring his sharp jawline and messy blonde hair. He quickly learned that Bowie was not only beautiful but also incredibly smart and passionate about his art.

As they got to know each other, Raj found himself falling for Bowie. He had never felt this way about anyone before. He wanted to spend every moment with him, to hear his voice and see his smile. But he never confessed his feelings to the boy, not even once in their four years of high school together.

Raj was afraid of ruining their friendship, afraid of being rejected, and most of all, afraid of what it would mean if he was gay. He had grown up in a conservative household where being gay was not accepted. He couldn't bear the thought of disappointing his family and losing their love and support.

So, he pushed down his feelings and tried to ignore them. He dated girls, went to prom with a girl he had no interest in, and even had a brief relationship in college. But no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't shake off his feelings for Bowie.

After high school, Raj was drafted into the pro hockey league. He was ecstatic to be living out his dream of playing hockey professionally, but a part of him couldn't help but feel empty. He had achieved everything he had ever wanted, but he still couldn't have the one thing he truly desired - Bowie.

Years went by, and Raj and Bowie lost touch. Raj focused on his hockey career while Bowie pursued his passion for art. But no matter how far apart they were, Raj never forgot about Bowie. He often found himself thinking about him, wondering what could have been if he had just been brave enough to tell him how he felt.

One day, after Raj had finished the last game of the hockey season, he found Bowie in the stands waiting for him. His heart skipped a beat as he made his way towards the stands. He couldn't believe it was really him, after all these years.

'Hey,' Bowie said with a shy smile as Raj approached him.

Raj's heart was racing, and he was at a loss for words. He hadn't seen Bowie in years, but he still looked just as beautiful as he remembered.

'I was in town for a gallery show and thought I'd stop by to see your game,' Bowie continued, breaking the awkward silence.

Raj couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions. He was happy to see Bowie, but also confused and a little bit angry. 'Why didn't you reach out to me sooner?' he blurted out.

Bowie's smile faltered, and he looked down at his feet. 'I wanted to, Raj. But I was afraid. I was afraid of losing you, and I was afraid of getting my heart broken.'

Raj's heart sank. He couldn't believe that Bowie had felt the same way about him all this time. He wished he had known sooner, wished he had been brave enough to tell Bowie how he felt.

'I'm sorry,' Bowie said, looking up at Raj with tears in his eyes. 'I regret not telling you how I felt sooner. I was born waiting for you, Raj.'

Raj's heart melted at Bowie's words. He had never felt more loved and wanted in his life. Without another thought, he leaned in and kissed Bowie. It was a kiss filled with years of unspoken feelings and longing. And in that moment, everything clicked into place for Raj. He was meant to be with Bowie, and he would do anything to make it work.

They spent the entire night talking, catching up on each other's lives, and confessing their feelings. It felt like they had never been apart. Raj finally felt like he was where he was meant to be, with the person he was meant to be with.

From that day on, Raj and Bowie were inseparable. They traveled the world together, supporting each other's careers and passions. And every night, as they lay in bed together, Raj would whisper to Bowie, 'I was born waiting for you too.'
