Soon after Izuku was sent to Recovery Girl you and Tokoyami were both looked at each other as you both got up and went to your rooms

After a couple of minutes you were walking to the arena and you and Tokoyami were both excited as you got ready

"Alright We Got Two Shadows Of Class 1-A For This Match! WE GOT THE SHADOW KNIGHT Y/N L/N! AND WE HAVE THE DARK CROW FUMIKAGE TOKOYAMI!"

You went straight for the attack with your staff as Dark Shadow blocked it, you sent clones to attack and Tokoyami fought them off while Dark Shadow dealt with you

You teleported behind and went to punch but Tokoyami expected that as he countered by dodging and Dark Shadow punched your chest instead

You saved yourself before you could have gotten out of bounds

"Even with the huge gap between their quirks Tokoyami is able to keep up, it's honsetly amazing" Izuku says as he is surprised

"Well apparently Y/N and Tokoyami are childhood friends, and since they practically know everything about each other it's giving him the edge to block off the power gap" Iida said watching as he is impressed by your fight

"Oh.. That's Good" Izuku said as he looked down a bit at the term 'Childhood Friend'

"So far this fight is dead even! It's like they're in their each other's head!" Mei

"Yeah Ikr? They are being so cool right now!" Mina

Tokoyami saw the portal that was forming from you on the ground and Dark Shadow went through it and attacked you, you blocked it in time with your staff as you smacked him away

You used another portal to teleport and went at Tokoyami, even if he isn't as strong physically he knew your attack patterns as he blocked and dodged each one

You thought of another way, you created some clones behind him as they do land a blow but only one as Dark Shadow quickly fended them off

You were able to catch Tokoyami off guard as you went to attack only for Dark Shadow to grab you and smash you into the ground a couple of times and threw you at the wall

You teleported just in time but that was close

"Heh.. This is fun isn't?" You said with a smile

"Yeah, this really is" Tokoyami said tired but still smiling

As you thought of the fight, you began to think about your relationship with Tokoyami, your friendship, how it started

"So um... do you want to go to the playground? I understand if not I just wanna know" You said a bit quiet as you were nervous

"I actually do, so where should we go first?" Tokoyami said after talking a deep breath as he took the courage

"O-Oh! Um well do you wanna go to the swings? I find it the best!" You said surprised but quickly smiled

"Sure" Tokoyami said with a smile Yeah! I wanna be pushed though!
