Marcy accidentally calling king Andrias "dad"

An accident

*Takes place after Sasha and grime failed to take over the castle (this is based off some amphibia art I found and a scene from brooklyn nine-nine)*

After the tosd rebellion failed, Anne, Marcy, the Plantars, Frobo, Lady Olivia and General Yunan Scourge Of The Sand Wars Defeater Of Ragnar The Wretched and The Youngest Newt To Ever Achieve The Rank of General In The Great Newtopian Army were in the throne room, while Sasha Grime were tied? Cuffed?

"Polly stop scratching your butt, the king's almost here." Sprig said right before King Andrias came in.

"Okay let's do this!" He said, rubbing his hands together.

"Yep, we've stopped the toads from taking over, let's get this over with dad!" Marcy said with excitement.

Everyone in the room especially King Andrias stared at Marcy, surprised by what she had just said, even Marcy herself was taken by surprise.

"Did you just call the King dad?" Sprig asked.

"N-no! I-I-I Didn't mean it! It was just a slip of the tongue!" Marcy said slightly blushing.

"Marcy, am I a father-figure to you?" King Andrias asked smiling.

"Uhhh, I uhh consider you more of a uhhhh...  A bother figure! Cause you're bothering me right now!" Marcy said trying to make an annoyed expression.

"Yeah, sure whatever." King Andrias said, rolling his eyes.

"HEY, MARCY!" Anne said, putting a hand on her hip, "how about you show your dad some respect?"

"I DIDN'T MEAN TO CALL HIM DAD!" Marcy yelled, blushing more.

King Andrias waved his hands briefly saying "No, no.  Please Marceline, I see it as a compliment that you called me that."

Marcy stammered, looking around her surroundings trying to figure out what to say, but all she saw was everyone looking at her.

"Don't feel ashamed Marcy." Yunan said, "I called Lady Olivia "mother" once.  (Turns out we are actually in love)."

Marcy sighed in relief and said "See everyone, how's that? Yunan has psychosexual issues too!"

"Mar-Mar, you have done a lot of crazy things." Sasha said. "Like staying in an bathtub filled with ice cubes and cold water, walking straight towards a lot of rattlesnakes, but you calling King Andrias himself "Daddy-" "SASHA THERE IS NO WAY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES I AM CALLING HIM THAT!" Marcy yelled blushing *Much* harder than before.

Sasha simply just made a devious smirk.

"Relax I don't really have much concern about it." Andrias said.

Marcy let out a sigh of relief, "Oh thank fro-"

"My daughter" Andrias cuts her off.

Marcy's smile inverts and her pupils shrink.

"Say, do you wanna go and read a book together?" The giant newt asked as he walked towards the door.

Marcy's pupils go back to their original size and she smiles again.

"Oh yeah, I would love that!" Marcy said cheerfully, following Andrias to the library.

The two then exit the throne room, leaving everyone else in the throne room unsure of how to feel about what had happened.

"Well this is gonna take longer than I thought" Anne said, looking down in disappointment.
