As the sun began to fade from the sky above the forest, I noticed the leaves around me were such a lovely shade of red. One could even say blood red if they wanted to, and of course they would be further dyed red once I was done with Aiden here.
Looking back down at his prone form beneath me on the forest floor, he stares at me with a dramatic look of betrayal. His acting classes were almost paying off for his grand finale. He, of course, couldn't speak, as I had sewn his mouth shut a couple hours before, but with his quivering form, you could tell he was petrified beyond belief. Making eye contact with Aiden, I raised my right arm above my head, and I could see his eye track the movement as they widened even further in fear. As my arm came rushing down, I recalled how I got here.
