Soon enough the morning of the world cup came, and I have never been more excited. Sitting up I looked outside realizing I woke early enough that the sun had yet to rise.

I made quick work of showering and started getting ready, humming to myself as I went. Since the Malfoy house was well known through the wizarding world, we had a certain imagine to maintain while outside.

I love dressing up and often went with my mother and lady Zabini, to places such as Paris and Mulan to shop and gossip. And lady Zabini often sent over the newest fashion pieces for me, as she only has a son, and she was like a second mother to me and Draco.

Me and Draco, as young heir and heiresses, are taught from a young age on how to dress and act in public, along with how to act according to mother magic and the old ways. Many families have lost the old ways of magic and act however they please.

Eventually I decided on a long sleeve collared white button up shirt, which was under a black dress that flared at my hips. Black stockings were underneath my skirt for added warmth as well as a knee length black coat.

I put on some small black boots with a small heel and went over to my vanity to decide on some jewelry. Some small silver hoops and a few dainty silver rings were put on as well.

I sprayed some perfume and looked at my reflection. A small frown greeted me in the mirror. With a sigh I reached for my mascara and eyebrow pencil to hide the white parts of my eyelashes and eyebrow on my left side.

Chapstick finished off my look and I nodded satisfied, I looked outside realizing the sun had risen and I still needed to do my hair.

A witch's hair was special. It held magic and the healthiness often showed your status and power. It was common for most to always wear it up, only family, close girlfriends, and your partner were able to touch a witch's hair.

"Sisly" I called out softly, turning my body in my chair to where I heard the pop of magic. I smiled at the small house elf. "Yes mistress?"

"Could you call my mother in here to help me with my hair please?"

With a smile and a pop of magic she was gone as soon as she came. Minutes after my mother walked into my room with a giddy grin on her face.

"You need some help love?" I smiled at my mother and nodded. She came up behind me and started braiding and twisting my hair into some elaborate updo.

Around 20 minutes later she finished, and a few small curls were pulled out to frame my face. I stood up and wrapped my arms around my mother and smiled smelling her usual perfume.

"Thank you, I can never do it as pretty as you do." I said my voice muffled from her shoulder. She patted my hair gently, careful not to mess up her work.

"Of course, love, I'm always glad to help." She pushed me back slightly, holding my shoulders and smiled. "Your father and brother are downstairs eating breakfast, come, let us join them."

With linked arms we headed to the kitchen, a smile grew in my face in excitement.

Once breakfast was finished and put away, we said a quick goodbye to our mother before using a portkey to get to the world cup. As a noble lady our mother did not like the brutality of the sport. And while I couldn't play for that reason, I still loved to watch.

As soon as our surroundings cleared, me and Draco took off towards the tents and venders. But as soon as we went to leave our father drew us back with a loud cough. We turned to him with guilty smiles and took a breath to collect ourselves, as not to look like unmannered children.

"Now Draco, do stay with your sister, and keep away any unwanted guests." I rolled my eyes at my father's words, but Draco nodded, gently grabbing my arm to hold onto his.

One thing I loved dearly about the way most noble houses taught their children is the way they enforced such manners in the young men. Always offering their arms to the ladies they are with.

With a small peck to my father's cheek me and Draco walked off towards the crowd. Within the first ten minutes I was over the pushing and shoving from the crowd and ready to go back to our private tent.

Draco took notice and promised me we would head back soon, and I sent him a grateful smile in thanks.

Just as we were about to head back Draco took notice of one of his closest friends the one and only Theodore Nott. I let out a playful groan of annoyance at the sight of the boy as Draco started to walk towards him.

"Theo!" He whipped around at the sound of my brother's voice and a wide smile spread across his face. "Draco! Oh, and look who we have here, little Ember!" I pursed my lips at his teasing and fought a smile off my face.

"My teddy you sure have grown." I said with a small smile before muttering under my breath loud enough for them both to hear, "in width."

A dramatic gasp came from the boy as he clutched his heart. "You wound me with your words Ember."

"I do try Theo." As the boys talked, I looked around at all of the unfamiliar faces in the crowd getting lost in thought.

Theodore Nott was one of Draco's best friends, along with Blaize Zabini and Lorenzo Berkshire. We all grew up together and we both considered them family. We talked comfortably with them as they did with us, long forgetting the honorifics we would usually use when talking to other nobles.

A tap on my forehead from none other than Theo brought me back to the present. I blinked out of my daze and looked at both of them staring at me. "Sorry, yes?"

They both laughed at my confused expression, "You know with how often you get lost in your head it's no wonder you haven't been kidnapped yet." I gave Theo a deadpan look and he held his hands up in surrender.

"Theo just asked how you summer was." Draco said gently. He knew that I didn't like how often I got lost in my own mind but promised me long ago that as long as he was by my side, he would make sure I would be caught up or safe.

"Yes, it was good, peaceful, which is probably the opposite of how this year is going to go with all of the trouble the boy who lives brings." I murmured the last part, as both boys scowled at the thought of the boy.

"Ah yes, good old Harry Potter, saw him, his girlfriend, and the redheads not long ago, arrive with that one Hufflepuff." Draco's scowl deepened at his friends' words, and I took that as a sign to head back to the tent.

"Alright Teddy dear, I would love to hear about your summer adventures next time we see you, but for now we must get going back to the tent."

"Yes, we've been gone far too long, I'm sure father is about to blow a gasket." Draco grumbled before saying a goodbye to Theo, to which he made him promise to sit in the same compartment on the way back to school.

Draco rolled his eyes saying "obviously" before we headed in different directions. Now that it was closer to the game the crowd had started to become rowdy.

At one point Draco even hexed some drunk Irish fan for stumbling right into me.
