We were at the gorgeous beach I can't remember when the last time I saw a beach was I mean there is hardly any in the city
"Ana I'm gonna talk to Holly you coming" Kat asked me i looked over at Holly who was standing by the water I nodded getting up from the chair I was sitting on and begin walking with Kat towards Holly
"What are you doing" Kat asked Holly we stood a good distance behind her
"Writing post cards to mom and dad just want them to know how much I miss them thing been difficult with mom and dad but I still love them"Holly said still writing
"Holly you do know there is no actual way of sending them right" Kat said
"Course"
Me and Kat looked at each other before walking up to Holly
"Do you have any spares" we asked her Holly smiled at us pulling two out of her pocket
I honestly didn't know why I was writing one they were gonna get it but there was just this small hope
"To grandma
I miss you so much I can't wait for the day i get to be in your arms again and we can be together I'm saving the world for you for us there a special someone I can't wait for you both to meet when you get back. Love Julianna"
We finished writing our letters putting them in a bottle
"Are yall ready" I asked standing in the middle they both nodded as our smiles beamed from one ear to another

We all ran towards the water before throwing the bottles in yelling as the water begin to reach us
"Do yall think when this is all over will still hangout" I asked them "we're all from different sides of towns"
"Of course we're family now it'll be strange not seeing yall everyday anymore" Kat said
"Yea I'd make the drive to come and catch up every once in a while" Holly said
We saw Ami and Jordon walking up to us holding a yellow gadget in their hand
"We're looking for treasure" Ami said
"It's a Geiger counter you moron" Kat said taking it from him
"Why do you have that Ami" i asked looking at him
"The hell even is that" Ami asked
"It measures radiation" Kat said "in fact it's measuring radiation why's it getting such a high reading here" kat said getting worried
We all walked up a sand hill following Kat as we saw a big building in the far distance
"Kat what's that building" Holly asked
"A nuclear power plant with no adults working there I think something gone wrong with the reactor" Kat said in a worried tone
"How do you know that" Jordon asked Kat explained the machine could measure necular radiation which could kill us
"Run" Kat said before pushing through us Jordon grabbed my arm pulling me down the hill as we all ran back to the van yelling go to Sadiq we all quickly got in the van closing the door
I leaned forward when the van stopped to see why there was caution tapes and warning signs of radiation blocking our path
"What should we do" I asked
"Let's turn around" sadiq said "head the other way to the sparticle project"
"There is no point in realigning the worlds cause will all be dying from radioactive poisoning" Kat said
