When Trouble Comes: A sequel to "Through the other Dimension"

Chapter 16: Rainbow Dash's POV

I was bored. Bored out of my mind. Just the thought of being bored made me sigh heavily as I lazily laid on top of a random cloud on duty (he he... I said duty).

Ever since Lance left through that other dimension, I've not been myself lately. I wasn't in my usual competitive mood like I usually was, and I always half-listened, looking at the sky, which was not me at all. Not even Tank could cheer me up, although I do smile whenever he tries to, because it was adorable.

My drifting thoughts were interrupted when a shadow came upon me. Oh no... not him.

"Hey, Dashie." Soarin hovered above me. "Why so down?" I ignored him and pretended to look for clouds in the sky.

"Your not still depressed about your coltfriend, are you?" He landed next to me and scooted slowly towards me.

"Leave me alone, Soarin." I flew off to another cloud, just to be met by a smiling Soarin looking proud of himself.

"Somepony's feisty today." I grumbled and flew to a different cloud in the very corner of PonyVille. I looked around to make sure that creep wasn't around and landed.

Sometimes I wondered if Soarin even had a life. Yeah he was part of the Wonder Bolts, but lately he's been coming from CloudsDale to see me, which was creepy on so many levels. Just than, I was pushed and pinned to the top of the cloud.

"Dashie, he's gone now, so..."

"NO, SOARIN!!!!!!! I WILL NEVER EVER DATE YOU OR CHEAT ON MY COLTFRIEND FOR YOU OR FOR ANY COLT!!!!!!" I struggled to get out of his grip, but he was for some reason stronger than me. Hopefully I was loud enough so that somepony could hear me in distress, yet I wasn't because that would be bad for my reputation.

Soarin got deathly close to the side of my face and whispered in my ear. "I guess I'll just have to change your mind the hard way."

I panicked as he pressed his lips against mine. I tried to push him off, but he weighed a ton from constantly eating Pies. I teared up and attempted to call for help, but it's hard when your trying to not to let him kiss you. Just when I thought all hope was lost...

"HEY, STOP MAKING OUT WITH MY MAREFRIEND!!!!!!!!!!" With renewed energy, I used all my willpower and pushed Soarin off of me. I guess I might've been alittle too strong, because I pushed him off the cloud. Oh well, he deserved it for harassing me.

I collapsed and started crying and hyperventilating all at once. I didn't know what to feel, relieved that he finally came back, ashamed, or just mad at him for leaving me to deal with that horse.

"Hey, hey, hey. It's okay, Rainbow. I'm here for you." Lance landed on the cloud. Before he could come to my side, I leaped up and hugged him, still crying like crazy.

"I-I'm so-sorry... He..."

"It's alright, Dash. I heard you and knew you were in trouble, but not in that sort of trouble." Lance soothingly wrapped his wings around me, as if shielding me from any danger.

Once I calmed down, I pushed away from him and slugged him on his top right leg.

"Ow! What was that for?!"

"THAT WAS FOR LEAVING ME TO DEAL WITH THAT HORSE!!!!!"

"Well I'm sorry, I had to help Destiny!" He exclaimed as he pouted and slumped.

"But this..." I slumped next to him and got close to his face. "This is for coming back and for helping me." Lance knew what I was doing and we both kissed at the same time.

Now, I just have to say... BEST. KISS. EVER!!!!! It felt good to feel his lips against mine as we kissed in sync. We separated and looked into eachother's eyes lovingly.
