Ichika turned her head away from Angela and kitty when she heard a ding and saw a chat message from her computer "bingo" Ichika said
Red lion: (it was you who helped out with the firewall protection wasn't it I'm very grateful for your assistance)
Kitty: "eh...it's the male lead I didn't expect him to contact you once you finished the firewall...but why did he go with the username?" Kitty was genuinely curious
Angela looked at kitty "probably because Mr CEO would be too much of an obvious giveaway" Angela said sarcastically
"Do I need to separate you two...stop acting like children and pay attention to the tasks instead of arguing that should keep you both busy" Ichika scolded
Both Angela and kitty fell silent which Ichika smiled happily about "great now that there's no interruption I'm going to send a reply" Ichika said typing out a response
Gem-crystal: (it's no big deal honestly I was bored and had nothing better to do with my time so I decided to help out)
The CEO chuckled silently when he saw the response to the message "what an amusing person" he said and typed back to her
Red lion: (well if you don't mind I would like to meet you face to face so I can personally thank you my savior)
Ichika felt a random thump in her heart 'what was that receiving such a thing makes me feel all warm inside' Ichika thought to herself as she typed up a response
Gem-crystal: (ok I'll accept your proposal when and where do you want us to meet)
Red lion: (tomorrow meet me in the Geo tech company building and we can discuss your reward in my office)
Red lion left the chat room...
Kitty: "ooo that sounds like you have a date with the male lead host" kitty was excited
Angela groaned in annoyance "just because he replied with that response doesn't mean it's a date" Angela said glaring at kitty
"If you two keep arguing like this I'm going to to tape your mouths so you can't speak" Ichika threatened with a dark smile on her face making both of them gulp
The next day...
Ichika grabbed her laptop and walked over to meet with the CEO at the Geo tech company building "wow...this building is huge" Ichika said to herself
'I could just use my anti gravity skill but I doubt that would be acceptable if I didn't identify myself first' Ichika thought to herself
Kitty: "aside from that host your anti gravity skill wouldn't be used in this world as it is clearly not a world of superpowers but technology" kitty spoke sternly
'Alright I won't' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty "I'm curious how this will play out it should be quite interesting" Angela said in her spirit form
Ichika walked into the building and looked around then went up to the front desk where the receptionist was and the lady looked up from her paperwork
"Can I help you?" The lady said "I'm here for a meeting with the CEO" Ichika said making the whole building go quiet and looked at Ichika
Angela was baffled that the mere mention of the CEO could make the whole building go deadly silent in an instant
"Wow is this guy really not social with anyone they are all looking at you like your crazy" Angela said floating around in spirit form
'I'm not the slightest bit surprised in this case after all it did say the CEO rarely left his lab to interact with others much less his office' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty and Angela
The receptionist cleared her throat loudly giving everyone a stern glare which made them turn around going back to their own business
"Yes the president did say something about thanking his savior...you can head on up his office is on the top floor of the building" the receptionist said pushing in her glasses
"Thank you" Ichika said "Your very much welcome" the receptionist said with a kind smile as Ichika walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to the top floor
Kitty: "oh I can't wait host your going to meet the male lead I bet you'll fall head over heels in love"
Ichika scoffed 'are you still on about that' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty as Angela sighed and rubbed her brows tiredly
"Honestly could you not if Ichika does somehow meet her one and only soulmate it takes time to fall in love, love at first sight is just a myth" Angela said floating around in spirit form
Kitty and Ichika snort at Angela making her narrow her eyes at the two of them "what exactly is so funny" Angela said crossing her arms
'you obviously don't know that when your other counterparts met their soulmates they fell in love at first sight just by their heart pounding' Ichika spoke in her mind to Angela
Angela felt baffled "seriously?!" Angela said with a sigh then the elevator dings and it opened Ichika walked up to the office door
Kitty: "I bet host will fall in love with the male lead when she see's" kitty giggled like a fangirl
'Bet I won't' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty and Angela "agh what is with the young goddesses these days I don't understand it" Angela sighed
'I'm sure you'll get used to it' Ichika spoke in her mind to Angela and knocked on the door to the CEO's office "you may enter" a deep and familiar voice said
Ichika opened the door and entered the office 'Did that voice sound oddly familiar to you guys' Ichika spoke in her mind to Kitty and Angela
Kitty shrugged "now that you mention it that voice did have a sense of familiarity in it" Angela said as Ichika cleared her throat
The CEO was facing the window in this rolling chair "I'm glad you're here" he turned around and Ichika's eyes widened slightly "it's nice to meet you my savior" the CEO said 'Shinichi!'
