"Phoenix was rough. You guys got your butts kicked. Here in Pittsburgh, you have won everything but it's clearly a different story when you get in a plane and fly across the country. For years, I took the kids by myself. I made sure their hair was right. I made sure the makeup was right. I put the headpiece on.
All the mothers wanna go now because they are reliving their childhood through all of you. And that's when the trouble happens. I am the leader. I am the teacher. You do what I say. When your mother is telling you something else to do. that become a conflict. Do you understand that? Now, Nia, how do your thing you did?" Abby said to everyone then asked Nia.
"Well I think we could have improved." Nia said. "What do you need to improve?" Abby asked her. "Pointing my feet." Nia said. "Yea. Very sloppy. The feet, the legs, the shoulders, the arms. The same mistake over and over and over and that pulls the group down." Abby tells Nia.
"Chloe, the headband was bad. Next time what are you gonna do?" Abby said. "Make sure my headpiece stays on." Chloe said. "Could you have prevented that.?" Abby asked her. Chloe nodded her head yes.
"Okay the new number will be called electricity. Everybody say that." Abby asked her students. "Electricity." The girls said. "Maddie, because you were great this weekend, you didn't give me any trouble, your mother didn't give me any trouble you're gonna be in the front, in the center for the beginning of the routine." Abby told Maddie.
The Pyramid Maddie Imogen Paige Chloe Brooke Nia Makenzie
"Everybody's goal should be right here. Yes? Okay. Three solos will be competing. Maddie you will be doing one of your solos, Chloe you will be doing one of your solos, and Imogen you will be doing one of yours." Abby told the girls.
"You got a solo and have to go up against your best friend and friend." Isla said. "Yea I know I'm going to beat Maddie she may be good but I'm better." Imogen. "Now don't be getting big headed about it." Isla told her daughter. "I'm not mommy. Me and Maddie are the best we both know that." Imogen said.
"Alright everybody up I want to start this number. Moms, you are dismissed. Thank you. Up down down switch foot. Step hit. Ball change. Sassy that's not skipping. Step out and it's like. Ha. Throw it out there. Do it again. One two two push pretty.
You have to be really hot, sexy. Make is like your 17 years old. One two three four five fix seven eight. Five sis seven eight. You set the tone for the whole dance Chloe so be amazing. And one two turn this hands in. Right. More butt. It's all about the butt." Abby says
Three Day to Competiton
"The girls and they moms are hanging out sitting down until the see Abby come. The girls hurried up and ran around to act like they were stretching. "Hey guys." Abby told them. "Hi." All the girls said. "I'd everybody here for the "Electricity" competition group." Abby asked the girls.
"Yes." The girls said at the same time again. "Yes. Okay. Mom before we rehearse actually Sandy's her and she's going to do the costume fitting so we can get these finished for today. All right? Excited?" Abby asked. The girls start talking at the same time until someone asked about the color . "Black and turquoise." Abby said and that made the girl gasp. She got her dancers so they can try on the outfit.
Abby told Imogen to go first and she walked out. Isla looked at that and gasped. "Abby no my 9 year old daughter is not wearing this." Isla said. "It's for the dance." Abby said. "Abby you and I both know Atlas and Aaron will come here and tell you something please my daughter is not wearing this you can work with her everyday with her solo but we aren't doing the group dance." Isla told Abby.
"Ok Isla sorry Imogen you can be in the dance can you bring Nia in." Abby said and hugged her. Imogen nodded her head and she went in the back. "What happened?" Maddie asked. "I got pulled from the dance. Nia your up." imogen said shrugging not really caring.
"I'm kinda happy I got pulled from the dance. I know mommy was mad about the outfit but I didn't even like the dance." Imogen said.
Solo Rehearsal "So Imogen you dance is called Almost There. You know the movie princess and the frog ." Abby says. "Yes." Imogen says. "So you're doing a lyrical piece. And I know you're going to do amazing." Abby told her.
They stated working on the dance. Imogen was doing great she is making sure everything is perfect her legs are straight everything is just right. "Great Imogen give me more I want you to feel it." Abby told her.
Imogen nodded and started to do the dance over and gave even more emotion when she was doing the dance. "Amazing. Keep working on your dance with Gia while I go with the girls." Abby told her and Imogen nodded her head. Imogen continued to work on her dance with Gia. "That's great it looks amazing." Gia told her and Imogen smiled brightly at the compliment.
Competition Day Isla went to Abby. "Hey Abby is it okay that my sister ride I can't my doctor said stay home until my due date." Isla told Abby. "Of course it's okay Isla you're giving us another dancer." Abby said which made Isla laugh.
Isla went to Imogen and hugged her. "Be good for Auntie Iris okay. I love you princess and you're going to be a good cinderella. Okay." Imogen said. "Okay mommy I love you too." Imogen said and gave her mom a kiss. Imogen and her aunt Iris got on the bus.
Abby is yelling at the bus driver. Nia and Imogen are talking to each other until Iris has to do Imogen hair and makeup on the bus. "So your going to put on your costume in the bus bathroom it may be a little tight but it's okay.

"You look so pretty Mogen." Iris told her niece. "Thank you auntie." Imogen said to her aunt. Imogen is stretching while the bus is still moving. They made it to the competition spot and it was time for Imogene to do her dance.
"You did so great baby girl" Imogen aunt said hugging her. "Thank you. I just which mommy could've seen it." Imogen said upset. "It's okay princess your mommy would have love the dance but when your baby sister comes she will be able to watch too." Iris told her niece. "Okay auntie Iris." Imogen said hugging her aunt. "Good job Imogen you and Maddie did amazing." Abby said hugging the two girls.
Solo Award Presentation "And your first place is number 206.7 Imogen." The announcer said. Maddie and Imogen hugged each either and Imogen went and took her picture while everyone except for Melissa clapped for her.
"Of course Imogen came out on top. I expect nothing less from her or Maddie. It takes time and energy and perseverance, and the kids has it." Abby said
Imogen ran and hugged her Aunt. "I'm so proud of you princess." Iris told her niece. "Thank you auntie." Imogen said smiling. She and Maddie hugged and took a picture together. Chloe and Nia jumped on Imogen giving her a hug. "We are so proud of you Im." The two said to her.
Imogen is sitting on her aunt lap while the girls got ready. "What is this dance?" Iris asked her niece. "I don't know but mommy pulled me out." Imogen said. The girls went backstage while Imogen sat in the crowd waiting. The girls didn't place. Imogen was ready to go and ended up falling asleep in her Aunt arms.
