Kazuha couldn't stop giggling to herself, and honestly Chaewon was getting freaked out by it. She was lounging on the couch, flipping through the stack of cash she earned from her successful cherry sale last night. She'd heard from Sakura that they sold everything out as usual. It wouldn't be weird, that is if it were the first time Kazuha was doing it. But she'd recounted the stack like seven times already. She was just showing off at this point.

"We get it Kazuha," Chaewon said while grabbing her purse, "you're rich."

"No, you don't get it, Chaewon!" Kazuha fully sat up. "This is another victory against the Kims. My arch nemeses."

Chaewon turned to Sakura with a what? expression.

"She has this weird one sided rivalry with the Kims, they live further up the road. You know how competitive Kazuha gets." Sakura explained, eyes focusing back on her book.

"Do they sell cherries too?"

"No, they sell watermelons."

Chaewon blinked.

"Don't even ask," Sakura said and Chaewon shut her mouth, the words dying in her throat. "You should hurry, the store gets crowded past noon."

Right. Chaewon was supposed to be heading to the store to get some snacks for the movie night Kazuha wanted to have later.

"Here," Kazuha was handing her some cash from her stack, "buy yourself something pretty."

Chaewon scoffed and shoved her hand away. Sakura only chuckled and pulled Kazuha back so she was laying against the couch again.

"You're such a dork." Sakura patted Kazuha's cheek and gave her a sweet kiss.

"But I'm your dork," Kazuha said, smiling goofily at her wife.

Chaewon shuddered, faux gagging, as she quickly made her way out of the house. So corny. However, she'd never admit it to anyone but she was jealous of Sakura and Kazuha's relationship. Sakura had found "the one" so quickly and settled down already. And from what Chaewon had seen, she was happy here—happier than she ever was back in the city. This was her home now, with Kazuha. Chaewon was the older sister, she should've had her life figured out already. Sakura was always the mature one anyway. Chaewon couldn't blame Yunjin for thinking she was the youngest the other day.

Chaewon just hoped that someday she'd have someone to come home to every day. Someone to shower with love and affection and get some in return. It didn't help that Sakura had all these couples as friends either. She already had to suffer being the third wheel with Kazuha and her sister.

Chaewon was in the middle of deciding whether to get gummy worms or gummy bears when she felt a light tap on her shoulder. She was going to swing her purse but realized it was none other than Yunjin, who was now blocking her face.

"Woah!"

"Do you always sneak up on people like that?" Chaewon questioned, tightening her grip on the strap of her bag. Her eyes trailed over Yunjin, and noticed the blotches of paint that were all over her overalls.

"Eh," Yunjin shrugged, "I just saw you staring at the gummies and I came over to say hi. We haven't spoken since Friday."

"We texted everyday since." Chaewon turned her attention back to the gummies, frowning in concentration.

"That's different! All we do is send each other cat videos, we don't really talk." Chaewon didn't see, but Yunjin was rubbing the back of her neck nervously.

"Well you did promise to make some plans," Chaewon said absentmindedly.

"Right." Yunjin snapped her fingers in realization. "Well if you're not busy...maybe we can get some shaved ice? It's really hot today."
