"Luna never goes wrong."

"You were always mine."

"Good girl."

"Alphabets? Vowels?"

"No."

"Gender? Sounds?"

"You will only be mine, amor."

"No."

"Are you sure you have no doubts?" Ro asked again, noting down Azalea's progress while they were seated in a meeting room. The sound of the clock was loud, and it kind of impaired Azalea's focus. She had extended her first lesson to two hours instead of one.

She was distracted halfway, his words repeating in her mind to destroy so-called boredom.

As a person, Azalea never was vulnerably affiliated with anyone besides Beda. Maybe deep within her mind, she thought Veera was a mirage. She didn't know whether she was real.

Her doubts found clarity within this pack. If Veera was real, it would justify the pack member's reaction. If she was not, they wouldn't react so heavily.

Unless both parties were making a huge mistake.

In terms of Azalea's fate, she had to wait.
Beda was yet to answer begged questions.

She understood that despite her going a little haywire right now, she feared her emotions were persuaded too easily.
Especially with him on her mind.

Despite his name, he hasn't done anything to hurt Azalea.

Yet.

"Non ego facio." Azalea responded without hindrance, almost too quickly, and Ro raised an eye at her. [Translation: I do not.]

Azalea had been drinking tea, spacing out quite a few times. She suspected the spells used on her during imprisonment did something to her system.

She was too calm.

She was too easy.

They could've been medicines. They could've been drugs. They did something to impair her from feeling normal.

"Interesting for your first lesson," He commented, taking her written sheets and closing up dictionaries that she has speed resding through.

"Whatever you think you had before,"

"It was fake."

"How do you know it was fake?"

"Wrist."

Okay, but how is he so sure it was fake? Azalea thought hard, glaring at the steam from her tea like it was some kind of monster.

'Maybe we are being too emotional.' Beda suggested, subconsciously ticking Azalea.

Wouldn't deducing it logically mean I am ignoring my feelings?

'Being too emotionally intelligent never helped us.' Beda cursed.

I don't wanna be like this.

'Try it for one minute.' Beda pushed.
Azalea took a deep breath, watching Ro writing and only writing.

I am a pussy.
Overthinking of the past is so useless.

'We are too young to worry.' Beda added.

Yeah, we grew up too fast. Azalea shook her head in disappointment.

'What if this whole time we were brainwashed?' Beda gasped.
