A/N: I'm back guys! With a new story... sure to disturb and enchant at the same time!

A boy, with hair the same shade as the darkest of nights and eyes the color of silver, stared blankly at the wall, replaying the events in his mind.

The boy was beautiful, in a cold, menacing sort of way. In a way meant to intimidate, to frighten, to belittle... Aristocratic features, an elegant way to how he held himself, and a powerful, muscular yet slender body.

But for now, he was vulnerable. He was weak.

He was on a hospital bed, recovering from the horrendous happening of yesterday...

Crash; scream, scream, scream.

Cry, cry cry.

Cry for the death of who you love...

Of who you adore...

Of who you failed to protect...

Of who you harmed...

Scream in agony. SCREAM.

He remembered how she cried out, "Dan! Dan! Dan! Please don't do this!" He saw the way the blood smeared against her face in a beautiful and scary sort of way.

He remembered the way the others tried to restrain him. Losing control... trashing, hitting....

She smiled at him, her brilliant sapphire orbs sparkling at him.

"You do know that I love you, do you, Dan?"

Her voice was greeted with silence.

Cold, cold, silence.

But she still smiled at him in a way that put the shining sun to shame. "It's okay if you don't love me in return. What matters is that you're with me. I love you."

I love you, I love you, I love you... too. I love you!

The words he failed to say... the words she longed to hear...

The sound of a door opening. And there she was, beautiful, kind, and loving.

She smiled at him in a way that made his heart flutter.

"Hello, Dan. I am so happy that you are okay! Here, I even brought some fruits for you." And she placed the bowl at the bedside table.

Silence.

Still, she came over to him and gave him a hug.

She hugged him tightly. He could feel the tears falling onto his skin. "I'm so glad..."

Silence. Dammit, say it, you coward!

He studied her with cold, calculating eyes. Truly, she was a thing of beauty. Strawberry blonde hair, peach skin, and cherry lips... all in all., she was tempting.

But he still said nothing, the coward he is.

And so, he turned away from her and slept.

The girl studied him with eyes of childlike innocence, with eyes full of sadness, with eyes full of longing... And she watched over him, looking over his lovely face, running her hands throught those silky dark waves.

---

He woke up with a scream. Then someone shushed him and laid a hand on his shoulder. "Nightmare?" He replied, "Erin...?"

"What are you talking about, Dan? It's me, your doctor. C'mon, old buddy, let's get you fixed up."

He stubbornly replied, "Erin, where is she?"

His friend and also doctor's eyes darkened. "You don't know?" He asked, suddenly cold.

Gulping, Dan replied, "What?"

Suddenly, he was pinned with a dark glare from his friend. "You killed her yesterday in one of your rampages, Dan. It's all your fault." His friend said, trying to keep himself from hitting the dark-haired boy. He saw her get slashed, get stabbed, get hit... get killed by him.

Dan's throat suddenly went dry. "I... what? But she was here when I slept, with me!"

He was suddenly grabbed in a strong grip. "Don't fool around with me", his friend said, green eyes blazing with rage.

Bewildered, Dan looked around wildly, and saw the bedside table. On it, was a bowl of fruits, each freshly cut and washed. Who...?!

I love you!

I LOVE you!

I love YOU!

... beyond death.
