It was a lazy day, same as any day, in the cat café "Kitty Meow", the tables and chairs were neatly aligned with various cats of both normal and magical varieties wandering around the room, playing with toys or sleeping on cat beds near the walls. A Celestial Hostess was sweeping the floor while most of the rest of the staff was simply waiting patiently for customers to arrive.

There was only one customer, the pale-skinned, red-haired demon man named "Xenolith" who came here nearly every day. He had red eyes and pointed ears like all humanoid demons. He was dressed nearly entirely in black from head to foot, covering every bit of his body below his face. Mostly he was covered in a long black coat with a bit of white fur lining on the collar. Under that he had a tight black shirt and black trousers going down into black dress shoes. Even his hands were covered by white gloves. Around his neck hung a long white scarf.

He spent his time at the bar each day chatting with the silver-haired archangel who owned the establishment. Despite having once been enemies, the two men seemed quite amicable these days.

"I noticed you have a new staff member—quite young," remarked Xenolith.

"Yes, he is one of my pupils from Celestia. He came here to assist for the summer," replied Virunga.

Virunga had silver hair, cut short except for in the back where it had been braided into a long ponytail that went down to his thighs. His eyes were large and a deep ocean blue. Upon his back were a pair of white angelic wings. He wore a skin-tight black jumpsuit from his chest down to his feet. Around his chest, he wore a short white jacket with a large feathered collar that was cut short enough to show off his upper chest and short enough that it left his midriff exposed except for the long blue-hemmed white cloths that hung down in front all the way to his knees. Despite the jacket being so short, it had long blue-stripped sleeves that entirely covered his arms. He had long silver boots that rose to his knees.

"You sure it is safe to bring an angel child to the Netherworld?" questioned Xenolith, his tone implying the answer should be 'no'.

"He's stronger than he looks," replied Virunga confidently. "This area is like our own little piece of Celestia here. There aren't any monsters that will attack him. If there were, the others I have on staff can handle anything he can't."

Xenolith gave a wry smile and lifted his cup of tea. "I am not sure the monsters are the real threat to him," he mentioned ominously before bringing his cup of tea up towards his mouth.

"Hiya, big brother—" spoke a woman's voice behind him without warning, that 'big brother' part having the most sultry and suggestive of tones. The appearance of the voice caused Xenolith to jump in surprise, spilling the tea all over his shirt and upon the counter in front of him before he could gather his thoughts.

Behind him stood a girl with skin as light as his, but much shorter and younger, perhaps mid-teens, with a pair of puffed-up pigtails. For as much as Xenolith seemed driven to cover himself completely, it seemed his little sister was quite the opposite. She was dressed in tight black leather, covering her arms and legs from hand and foot all the way up to her upper arms and thighs. But very little covered anything from her shoulders to her thighs, only a tiny leather bat-shaped bikini top and an incredibly short black skirt.

The thing was though-- as much as her outfit seemed to have been chosen to titillate, her body lacked all curves that suggested and womanly development. Her body was as flat and straight as a board. Still, there was something about how she carried herself and acted that conveyed a certain sultriness. She had a wide, smug grin on her face as though she just loved the reaction she had gotten.

As Virunga attended to mopping up the counter, Xenolith gave a discontented sigh before asking in resignation, "What do you want, Etna?"

Behind Etna, a loud laughing could be heard as a little girl with pink hair tied off in a pigtail like Etna but only on one side with a pair of yellow beads wearing white bandings around her chest and a pair of big baggy pink shorts tore across the shop as she chased after the first cat to catch her attention, knocking over chairs and tables as she chased after it.
