"Dad! Come on!" Finn said practically dragging his father out of the house. He was ready to finally go to Hogwarts, after years of his father talking about it.

For some reason, Finn's father, Regulus, never liked to go in public due to his past at Hogwarts and only went out in public unless absolutely necessary. Finn never found out the whole reason why, but took his father's word for it. Regulus was adjusting his robes and walking out the door with his son who was still shouting at him to come along.

Finn's grey cat, Artemis was meowing and purring loudly as Finn put her in the car for the ride. After a few short hours, they had finally made it to the train station. They found their way to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters and found that they were some minutes early. As they were walking, Finn had caught sight of a raven-haired boy and many red-headed people. He saw his father quickly glancing around as if someone would notice him.

"Dad?" Finn asked and Regulus bent down enough so he could hear.

"If I'm also put into Slytherin, is anyone going to like me?" he asked.

"Not all Slytherin's are bad, Finn. Trust me." Finn watched his father smile a bit then looked at the clock.

"Okay, are you ready?" he asked and Finn nodded. They made their way to the front of the platform. Yes, Finn practically forced his dad out of the house a few weeks ago so they could get everything Finn would need for school, he was still nervous about the platform.

Now, just like I told you, break into a little run and go straight through." Regulus said.

"Okay." Finn said shakily. It was five minutes to eleven.

He gripped his trolley so hard his knuckles were white. He was very nervous.

"Let's go together." his dad said. He placed a hand on Finn's back and the other hand on the handle of the trolley. Then, they ran through the platform.

As soon as they went through the wall and Finn opened his eyes, he was in awe. In front of him was a long gigantic train and on the front it read, Hogwarts Express. He noticed that it was almost eleven, so he had his trunk and things loaded onto the train, and turned to his dad, giving him a hug.

"I'm going to miss you." Finn whispered.

"Me too, bud. I'll write to you every weekend if I can, I love you." Regulus said.

"Love you, dad." Finn said and looked his father one more time before stepping onto the train.
