Chapter One

Taylor's POV:

I moved to California to get away from my past back home in Texas. I'm 18 and living in an apartment with my roommate Kaylee. We've known each other since we were babies. Me and Kaylee decided to leave Texas and go to college at Pepperdine in Malibu. I had some good friends back home but Kaylee was the only one who stayed by me.

Taylor: "Kaylee I'm going out I'll be home in an hour or so."

Kaylee: "K."

I was skateboarding when Kaylee called me only to tell me she was hungry. She's literally always hungry. I was on my way to TacoBell when some guy ran into me.

Taylor: " Ow."

Kian: " Oh my god I'm soo sorry. Are you okay?"
Omg this guy is gorgeous.

Taylor: " Yeah I'm okay."
Kian: " I'm Kian. What's your name?"
Taylor: " Taylor."
Kian: " Wow."
Taylor: "Wow what?"
Kian: " You are the most beautiful girl I've ever seen."
Taylor: " Thank you. You're not too bad yourself."
Kian: " Can I have your number?"
Taylor: " Sure."
Kian: " Wanna get dinner? You know. To get to know each other more?"
Taylor: " Okay let me call my roommate."

5 minutes later
Taylor: " Okay let's go!"
Kian: " Okay!"
