The tough kid (one piece modern au)

The bell rang and Batho lauched at you first. You swiftly dodged it and let out a small chuckle. You attacked his Jaw, catching him by surprise.

"What a stealthy move! 10 points to Mystique!" 

He spit a few drops of blood and again turned to you. You laughed at his frustrated face, making him more provoked.

He charged himself at you, but you swiftly dodge again. Then you turned to face him and connected your fist to his stomach. And you found out a vital information.

It was his weak point!

Eureka!

You punched his stomach until he was knocked down. You were careful enough to not punch his chest cause it may cause damage to heart and may die due to it. 

A silence broke out when Bartho finally fell.

The the crowd started chanting While you panted

Then the crowd erupted into cheers. You raised your arms in victory and grinned beneath the mask. Luffy climbed up to the ring and lifted you up.

"Put me down na," you said between your laughs.

He was quite strong for his figure to be frank.

"Now you must be hungry after the fight. Let's go and eat!"

"Whatever you say Luffy." You agreed. You noticed King approaching you and you immediatly made him land you down.

"Here is your payment y/n. And some bonus too. Kaido Sama loved your performance today and it brought a lot of profit today."

"Cool. Which team was this Bartho guy from?" you asked as you noticed a long blonde hair guy carrying the knocked out Bartho guy away.

"He was representing a team called Bartho club. Anyways who is this Lad with you?"

"I am Monkey D Luffy, Y/n's friend." he introduced himself while flashing out a toothy grin. King hook his extended hand reluctantly and turned to you, "Glad you are making friends now y/n. I'll get going now."

With that the black dressed male walked out of your sight and you turned to luffy, "Where are we going next?"

"To Sanji's home!"

"Sanji! Food!" the raven haired boy yelled as he barged through the front door.

"Oh Luffy, Sit somewhere and wait for few minutes will ya? Give me time to make something" The blonde guy said as he got up from his sofa and walked towards the kitchen.

"Sorry to be a bother Sanji," you said as you took a seat on the chair near the kitchen counter.

"Oh Y/n san, you are here too? It's not a problem really. Glad to be at your service." Sanji said in a sweet tone.

You just gave a small nod as he started cooking.

"Any preferences?"

"No. Anything is fine."

"Alright. My special sea food rice coming up."

You watched as he cooked. Watching someone cook was always one thing you loved.

"Wanna give it a try?"

"Huh sorry?"

"I mean, wanna learn cooking from me? You like you want to cook."

"I am no where as skilled as you"

"Crap. Just give it a try. I'll guide you."

"You don't plan on giving up do you?"

"Nope. Now come on."

Walked walked to the kitchen, washed your hands and put on an apron.

"Ready?"

You nodded as a response.

Sanji then instructed you to wash the rice while he patch up the ingrediants and you both got into work right away.

Soon you discovered that

Cooking is fun.

Sure it can be tiring, needs a lot of patience and so on, it was quite a fun thing to do.

Plus witnessing someone eating your food with complete delight (Luffy in this case) all the efforts didn't go in vain.

A small smile crept into your face without your consent. 

"Y/n sannnn, your smile looks lovely. I am honored to witness it." Sanji spoke, his eyes turning into heart. You scoffed, but the smile didn't make it's way out.

After an hour or so, Sanji's father, Zeff reached home. Not wanting to intrude any further, you, dragging Luffy along, left the home.

Sanji even gave you the recipe of the fried rice and also promised that he himself will bring you breakfast daily from now on (you accidently slipped out that you don't eat breakfast often). 

You then walked Luffy home as he lived near a bad reputed area. 

And to your surprise, it was Mr. Shanks who opened the door.

"SO YOU ARE TELLING ME THAT MR. SHANKS IS YOUR DAD?" You whisper- shouted while sipping the tea Luffy's mother, Makino made for you.

"Yeah. I also have older brother named Ace and Sabo. Speaking of which, where are they? ACE! SABO!" he suddenly yelled out and you had to cover your ears to prevent your eardrums from bursting out. 

"Geez Luffy. Don't scream like that without any notice. My eardrums almost burst out."

"Shi shi shi sorry y/n"

Afterwards, you also met up with Ace and Sabo and soon left the home. Shanks insisted that he'll drop you,  but you refused saying that you have to run some errands on the way.

There aren't no way I go on a ride with a drunk person driving.
