Midnights Blood Series: The Bridge Between Us

Chapter 1

At the province of Iloilo where there's a isolated town name Nuevo Salvasyon and in that town there is only one Academy which is called Juan Academy Iloilo.

The whole students in that town studied in that particular school, how ever the Academy was located beside a river, which across the river said to believe to be home of Man Eating Monsters called Aswang.

They are beings that humans during the day and monster during the night, they had red eyes, sharp teeth, Fangs and claws, long tongue which they use to suck on pregnant woman, and enormous bat like wings which they use to fly anywhere they want.

Once in a full moon humans disappeared for no reason and they believe they were already eaten by the Aswangs.

The village was far from civilized that the town because in that village its full of thick forest and mountains and there was a bridge that connects to the town but no one dare to cross it and if someone cross that bridge from the other side believe to be a Aswang.

So it was mid of April, enrollment time for the school, a young girl cross the bridge and went to the other side while no one is watching, the girl walks until she reaches the Academy, as she enters the school gate and nobody was around because its early in the morning and she's the first one to arrive.

She enters the administration room where there is a teacher sitting at a chair next to a table, she happily greeted the teacher then she was given an registration form which she immediately writes the information that was asked.

When she was finish she return the registration form to the teacher.

"You're a bit early Klarisza." The teacher said as she smiles happily.

"Ma'am, please you can call me Iza." Iza replied with a smile.

"Iza, what grade are you right now, seems I lost track of it?"

"Ma'am, I'm already a seventh grade." Iza replied with a smile, she's a naive looking girl who's eyes are black as her long wavy hair with a tanned brown skin even when she smile it gives her a diffident beauty with slender body as she moves like a innocent being.

"Iza, looks like your growing into a fine lady, now thank you for choosing again to enroll here and the opening of the new school year is in June so see you." Iza smile as she walks away at the administration room but before she could step out of the building she suddenly hears a piano playing not far from her, the music was so wonderful that Iza stops to hear it.

Iza was interested so she follows the music but before she could went to the music room the teacher came out of the room and called Iza.

The teacher told Iza that if she can go to the music room to tell the person playing the piano to get out of the room because the rooms is still off limits and there are valuable things inside so Iza agreed and went to the music room.

She goes to the second floor of the building and at the corner of the hallway you can see the music room so Iza went inside and saw a teenage kid playing a piano.

Iza knocks the door to call the attention of the boy, when the boy heard Iza knock he stops playing the piano then he look back, and when Iza saw him she startled with a bit of fear but as soon as she looks closer Iza suddenly calms down. "Sorry to bother you but this room is still of limits." Iza said with a shy voice.

"I'm sorry, I saw the room was open so I entered not knowing it's off limits." The boy said with a sarcastic face.

"But somehow your really are good at playing piano." Iza replied with a smile.
