Writing a filler chapter cause I'm sad season one is ending I'll tell u when to play the song

I woke up in the van like always to sadiq horrible breaking but to be fair he did a lot better then in the beginning

I looked over at Ami to see him sound asleep with the sun hitting half of his face I can't believe this time tomorrow the adult will be back and he'll be gone from my life this will all just be memories but Ami will forever live in my heart I'll always care for him even if we're not together and even if we're far far away from each other

"Alright everyone up this is our last stop before the sparticle project tomorrow enjoy it" Kat said opening the side door we all groaned getting out the van

We were in a beautiful field of flowers near a lake i stretched before walking down the hills pathway to the lake admiring the beauty

"Pretty Gorgeous right" Jordon asked from next to me

I nodded bending down to pick a rock up throwing it into the water attempting to make it skip but failing horribly

"Jordon can I tell you something" I said turning to face him he nodded for me to continue "I'm 16 today"

"Wow I thought you were gonna say you were a pro rock skipper cause I was ready to call your bluff" Jordon said holding in his laugh I elbowed him while laughing "just kidding happy birthday Ana"
Jordon hugged me lifting me from the ground to spin me around

We pulled apart when we heard Holly call from above the hill "what are you two doing" we turned to see Ami and Holly standing there watching us "nothing" we both called back they begin walking down the hill "Let's just keep this between us" I whispered to Jordon which he agreed to

"Okay well Kat wants us to set the tents down here" Holly said Ami passed his stuff angrily to Jeffrey before walking back up the hill

"The hell is his problem" I said helping Holly with the tents

"Idk maybe you hugging Jeffrey" Holly said sounding annoyed

"Friends are allowed to hug" Jordon defended

"Hm yall sure that what it was" Holly said before walking back up the hill

Some time later we were all settled down by the water with the tents set up we even managed to build a fire

The mix of emotion was in the air we were happy to get the adults back but we would each start our own life back up again not getting to see each other everyday anymore not going on adventures this is my family I found my family all on my own it's little and it's hurt but still good

"Let's play charades" kat suggested we all agreed "I'll be the score keeper"

"Okay hm Ami and Ana Jordon and Holly Reese and Sadiq" Kat said choosing our teams

"I wanna switch teams" Ami said "I'll be with Holly"

I looked at Ami confused and a little hurt before looking around at everyone who had the same confused expression

"That work for you Holly" Kat asked Holly nodded

"Sadiq and Reese your first"

Sadiq got up acting out the word "changing a diaper" without talking which I thought was kinda a hard one so luckily I didn't get it when the minute was up we all cheered knowing Reese didn't get the point for their team

Me and Jordon were up next I tried my best to act out "alarm clock" which was harder then it seems especially with the time limit we didn't get the point but it was still funny watching Jordon struggle to understand me

Holly went up next trying to act out the word "next in line" seeing her trying to explain and grow frustrated was so funny to watch ami gave it a go at guessing getting it wrong and getting angry

"I don't want to play this stupid game" Ami said kicking some dirt into the fire

"Ami your acting like a little kid" Jordon said from besides me

"Fuck off Jordon" Ami said

we all let out gasp asking Ami what his problem was but he just walked off

I followed him to where he was standing by the van

"Everything alright Ami" I said standing in front of him

"Just leave it Ana" he said visibly angry

"No your being rude Ami so I won't just leave it talk to me"

"Just go hangout with Jordon I know you'd rather hang with him anyways"

"Jordon? What are you even talking about your the one who switched teams"

"Cause you think I'm dumb I know that hug with Jordon wasn't just friendship and I know you have feelings for him Ana"

"Your such an idiot Ami Jordon was only wishing me a happy birthday he's your best friend he wouldn't do that to you and how dare you think I would do that to you it's been you from the first day at the cave and after all this time its still you if you need reassurance ask for it Ami stop lashing out without confirmation first"

"I'm sorry Ana"

I pulled Ami into a hug which he returned in a heartbeat

"You have my heart" I whispered towards him "you have all of me Ami"

"Happy birthday Juliana" Ami said pulling me closer if that was even possible

After a while of standing there holding each other in our embrace we went back to the group who had continued the game without us Ami apologized to Jordon and to the rest of the group for ruining the game before sitting down next to me

"I'm just gonna come out and say it I'm gonna miss all of you" Jordon said we all let out a chuckle

"Yea same I'll even miss you Kat" Sadiq said Kat smiled at him

"We're like family and it'll all be over" Holly said

I looked around at everyone seeing tears threatening to spill out from our eyes

"Come on yall we can't be sad this is our last night together make it one will always remember" I got up reaching for Ami hand "dance with me" Ami looked up from the fire

"I'm not dancing with you there no music" Ami said

"Who needs music Ami" I pulled him up from his seat forcing him to spin around
"Cmon Reese, everyone let's dance"

Everyone joined in jumping around dancing with each other and for the first time in a long time we were just kids we were just teenagers we shouldn't have been forced to handle this I was pulled out of my thoughts when Ami pulled me close to him

"Everyone listen up" ami caught the attention of everyone making them stop jumping around "today Ana's birthday"

Everyone started cheering and clapping wishing me a happy birthday and I knew that they helped me learn family isn't defined by gene it is built and maintained through love
