You were In jinxes lab tinkering around making new designs for bombs,why? well
Because you were bored. Soon enough,that even bored so you decided to go walk around the lanes since there's nothing better to do. Jinx was discussing work with Silco, you don't get along with sevica, and you just don't wanna hang out with chuck, so you're stuck by yourself. You could hear the groans and the fighting of people as your walking, and the air smells like a mixture of old sneakers and shimmer.. not a pleasant smell.
You were walking around until you came to a
Stop due to a man walking in front of you and standing there facing you.
"Um,can you move?" "You must be blind if you can't see that you just stepped infront of me buddy." You said
The man scoffs and signals for two of his little minions to come over. They come over and each take one of your arms.
"W-what the actual fuck? Let go you piece of!"
Before you can say anything or act you feel hit on your left eye,it stings like hell and it's pounding! You feel another hit in your stomach causing you to bend forward in pain and landing on your knees.
"That was just a little taste of what's gonna come if you don't get your girlfriend to stay in her lane." he cracks his knuckles and neck
Girlfriend? You don't have a- jinx he means jinx- you try to force a laugh out but it just causing more harm then good..
"She isn't my-."
you begin to cough due to you being winded
"She isn't my girlfriend you fucker!" You shout
"Whatever she may be to you make sure she gets the message.."the man said
he walks away and his little minions follow behind him.
So much for clearing your mind with a nice walk. But what did you expect? It's the lanes for fuck sake, you slowly make your way back to your feet and begin to walk back to the lab where jinx still isn't there, you take out one of your inventions, it's a mirror with a ring light around it. It's small enough to fit in your pocket front or back. Yup just as you suspected a black eye, you close the mirror and head to the last person you would talk to for help, sevica.
There she was playing what looked like poker or Chess.
You take a deep breath and realize that you will definitely regret this later on today.
"Sevica do you know how to take care of black eyes?"
She looks up and her eyes widen for a split second or two but return to normal after she gets up and walks up to you.
"Yea I do why?"She asked sarcastically
"I'm not in the damn mood, just tell me what I need to do so I can get out of here ok?" You said
She grins and scoffs
"In the freezer there is a eye patch, wear it for 15-20 minutes ok?" "The purple won't go away but the pain will at least for a little." "Then put the eye patch back in the freezer and do The same thing tomorrow and so on and so on until the purple goes away." She explained
"Ok thanks", you say hoping that would be it,
You were wrong.
sevica:"you know.." she lights her cigarette,
"Jinx won't be to happy seeing that."
"Trust me I wasn't happy either receiving it"
You walk off before she can try to continue the conversation and head back to the lab and continue to tinker around building new stuff.
