Love Again?

Chapter 11

It's been a week since Tenko slept over at Izuku's house and was now working part time at Izuku's bar as a waiter.

It took a few days for Tenko to be able to NOT break glasses, despite his numerous offers to pay for it, Izuku simply told him it was okay and that he didn't mind as it was his first time.

After an hour of bickering, they reached an agreement for Tenko to pay for broken glasses only after a month at his job. He reluctantly agrees and continues working.

Time skip~

Izuku's POV

Tenko-kun has been a great help at the bar! Now I don't have to worry about rush hour.

I was thinking about him while making a customer's drink when somebody sat in front of me. He taps the table, only for me to look up in shock.
"Shoto-kun? What're you doing here?"

Izuku smiles at his old friend as he pours the customer's drink. He hands over the glass and gets back to Todoroki.

"Hey Midoriya. Sorry to intrude, I asked your mother for the address."
They shake hands as Izuku offers him a drink.

"No worries, I was planning on inviting the class here one of these days anyway. So what brings you here?"
"I came to see an old friend and catch up. If he wants to that is."
Todoroki says as he places his drink on the counter and smiles at Izuku.

Izuku only laughs as he nods.
"I'm sure your old friend would be extremely happy to catch up."
"What time do you close up?"

"At 11, it's 10 right now so do you mind waiting for a bit?"
He says as he looks at his watch.
"No problem. I like the place. It's got a pleasant ambiance."
Izuku smiles at that and thanks him.

"BTW, you remember Shigaraki-kun right?"
"Leage of villains?"
"Yeah, we recently met actually. He's now in college and working here part time. It's always great to see people working hard for what they want."
Izuku says as he smiles softly. Todoroki pauses before agreeing with him.

"He goes by Shimura Tenko now. Apparently it's his real name. He's been a great help to the bar!"
"That's great Midoriya. "

Izuku nods as he continues, "Wanna meet him?"
Before Todoroki could answer, Tenko comes near the counter carrying a tray of empty glasses. His eyes widen as he sees Todoroki but gains his sense back after a few seconds.

"I'm seeing a lot of pro heroes these days. Feels kinda weird."

The two exchange awkward greetings ad Tenko refills his tray and goes back to work.

They continue talking till closing time. Tenko bids his goodbye as he leaves the bar. Izuku locks up as he turns to Todoroki.
"Wanna come to my place? It's a five minute walk from here."
"Sure. "

The too friends make small talk as they wall and soon reach Izuku's house.
They go inside and Izuku pours a cup to tea for the both of them.
They make themselves comfortable on the couch as they sip tea, as  a pleasant silence envelopes them.

Todoroki breaks the silence as he asks Izuku a question.
"So how've you been? Everything okay?"
"Yes! Quiet peaceful actually. Makes me wonder if it's a dream sometimes. How about you and everyone else? Any news?"
Todoroki sips his tea as he continues.

"Everyone's all good. There's nothing new accept for the fact that Ashido got a cat, Shinso and Kaminari became a couple and I'm getting married."
Izuku spits out his tea at the last line as he looks at his friend with shock.

"What???!!!! When did that happen? Who are you getting married to? How old are they? Since when have you been dating? Why didn't you tell me??"

Todoroki chuckles as he tells izuku to calm down.
"Relax Midoriya. I was planning to tell you before but I couldn't reach you and I got busy at work so it was only yesterday that I was able to contact your mother. The wedding's next month in Tokyo. I was hoping you could come, of course if you want to that is."
He says as he looks down, waiting for an answer.

"Of course I'd come!!! How could I miss the wedding of THE Todoroki Shoto?? Who are you getting married to tho?"
"Don't be shocked."
"I wont"
"You will"
"Just tell me!"

"Okay, so........

.....

.....

....."
"SHOTO!!!"
"Okay fine. I'm getting married to Eiji."
"Eiji?...Kirishima kun??!!!"
"I told you not to be shocked."

"But didn't you reject him in high school?"
"Yeah but he was persistent. Somehow I ended up falling for him too and now we're getting married."
"I'm really happy for you both Shoto-kun. I will definitely come to the wedding."

"Thank you Izuku."

The two spent a few minutes talking before Todoroki's driver came to pick him up. They said they're goodbyes as they went their own ways.

Izuku enters his room and looks at a picture frame on his bedside.

'Marriage........'
