Jungkook called Inspector Park while he had the perpetrator pinned down to the ground. The longer the bell rang, it became harder to control the man. The inspector answered the call after what felt like hours, "Hello Jungkook?"
"Hyung, I'm a few alleys down the Namhae Expressway Branch 2, come fast." He was breathless, the man was trying to free himself from the grip.
"But what happened?" Jimin asked worriedly.
"I'm holding down a man who tried to kill me, now be quick," Jungkook said in a rushed manner.
"What the fuck bro? I'll be there, don't die."
Jungkook chuckled at the elder's comment and cut the call. He looked at the man and grabbed the knife that lay abandoned. He then kept the knife at the man's throat, if Jimin took too long, then he'll have to struggle. And with all those injuries he had, it was hard, otherwise the man seemed half the weight that he lifted at the gym.
"I- if I free myself from your g-grip, you're dead." The man coughed.
"Thank the devil that I've not killed you yet, else I'd have made my dumbbells out of your bones." Jungkook glared at him before pressing the knife on his throat, enough to give him a deep cut.
"Y-you are t-too confi-dent," he stuttered. The man's voice was low and he kept coughing, the wound on his throat made it worse.
Jungkook just scoffed and kept holding him down. It was getting tiring and there was no sign of Jimin, the man had almost freed himself a while ago. It had been 25 minutes since he called Jimin.
"Jimin hyung, be quick. You can't be late always." Jungkook looked at the other side of the road; hopefully.
But it seemed like Jimin was too late, the man had freed himself from Jungkook's grip by elbowing him in the stomach, he already had a cut on his abdomen due to the accident and the things were getting worse.
What shocked him was when his bandage couldn't control the blood anymore, and his already bloody t-shirt was started to get soaked in his own blood.
"You bastard!" Jungkook cursed as he pressed his hands on the wound to stop the blood flow.
He had a hard time standing up properly because he was getting dizzy. The man seized the opportunity and attacked him, kicking his belly. The bleeding was too heavy, his head was constantly spinning. Jungkook composed himself for once and punched the man in the stomach. Even in that condition, his attack made the driver stumble several steps back.
"I'm gonna kill you," the driver said before he ran towards Jungkook with the knife pointed in his direction. He stabbed Jungkook in his abdomen, the wound's surface area was increased and the bleeding went insane.
Just when the man was about to stab him again, Jungkook heard a gunshot. And the driver fell down. He was shot in the knee. And that was all it took for Jungkook to know that Jimin had arrived.
