Where's Henric?

After all of my history lessen Henric would take me for a walk around the the castle grounds he would tell me story's about what it was like to be a Guardian, the sacrifices he had to make to protect Mal hid elemental. One day after my lessen Henric was not there a young boy about 12 years old stood in Henric's spot.

"Where is Henric?"

Adam has a frown on his face- "He is a little bit sick. I will be taking over for him till he is better. I am his son Adam."

"It is nice to meet you Adam! I am Thena."

Adam does not say anything, he raises and eyebrow and keeps looking at me.

"Oh right! Sorry! I am Thena of Parra-Val I am pleased to make your a...a... acquaintance!" 

Adam smiles- "Would you like to take a walk with me Thena?"

"Will you tell me a story about being a Guardian!? Henric always does!"

Adam's smile fades away as we start walking- "I can try! I have not been a fully trained Guardian for very long."

"But your 12?" 

Adam look's at me not quite understanding what I mean- "Yes I'm 12. I've been training since I was born."

"But its dangerous. You could die and your only 12."

Adam- "There is a spell put on Guardians If they die but their elemental is still alive they will come back to life for them. If the spell is ever taken off then they die it's for ever."

"I know mother had someone teach me about it! But if you die you lose apart of your soul, you would be less you when you came back."

Adam comes to a holt and does not move an inch. I turn back to look at him, he look's terrified. All of the colour washes out of his face.

Adam in a panicked- "Who told you that!"

What Adam just said confuses me as I was only 3 years old- "No one told me I just know! I know things, I have dreams sometimes and they come true."

Adam starts walking again. He tells me about this girl called Glory she's only 10 but and elemental died and gave Glory her powers so now she has to train. Normally elementals powers only starts working once they turn 16 but Glory is special. 

"Will I be an elemental?" 

Adam lets out a little laugh- "Yes you will be!"

My eyes widen with joy- "Who will be my Guardian?"

 Adam crouches down to be eye  level with me- "My little brother Ben will be your Guardian. Don't worry I will train him my self!"

"Is he like you?"

Adam- "like me? In what way?"

"Is he kind?"

Adam looks off into the distance taking a long thinking moment- "Yes he is kind. He is the kindness person I have ever known!" 

I smile and skip off back into the castle to get ready for dinner. 

For the next few years Adam stands outside of my class ready for our daily walk. Henric show's his face less and less around the castle. The less I see of Henric the more I see of Adam. Over the resent years me and Adam have become very good friends. After finding out about my dreams Adam would come into my room every night with the help from Klaus and he would tell me a story to help me sleep. 

Al-door is training to be a knight! Every second Adam has when he is not working or with Glory or with me he helps Al-door us a sowed properly. Neffy hates how closes we all are with Adam. He is a Guardian so in her eyes he is a lesser being. Al-door and me don't believe that at all. Henri stop coming to the castle and Adam seemed less happy like something had happened buy he won't tell me what is wrong probably because I am only 6.
