Alice stared at the blank pages of her notebook, her mind racing with a million thoughts.

She had just made the biggest decision of her life - to drop out of college. It wasn't an easy decision, but she knew it was the right one for her.

As she sat in her room, surrounded by textbooks and study guides, she couldn't help but feel a sense of relief. No more all-nighters, no more stress about exams and assignments.

But at the same time, she couldn't shake off the feeling of uncertainty about her future.

'How did I end up here?' she thought to herself.

Just a few months ago, she had been a bright-eyed and ambitious college student, with dreams of making it big in the business world. But now, she was just another dropout.

Alice had always been a straight-A student, driven by her parents' high expectations and her desire to succeed.

She had worked hard to get into a prestigious college, but once she got there, she realized that it wasn't what she had imagined.

The constant pressure to excel, the never-ending workload, and the competitive environment had taken a toll on her mental health. She had started to question if this was really what she wanted for her life.

But what pushed her to decide to drop out was the realization that she was studying for a degree that she had no passion for.

Alice had been dreading the conversation she needed to have with her parents for weeks. She was sitting at the kitchen table, nervously tapping her foot as she waited for them to come home.

When she heard the front door open and her parents' voices echo through the house, she took a deep breath and called out to them.

"Mom, Dad, I've made a decision," Alice announced, her voice slightly shaking as she faced her parents at the kitchen table.

Her parents looked up expectantly from their breakfast, their faces already displaying disapproval. "Yes, dear?" her mother asked, her tone laced with irritation.

"I've decided to drop out of college," Alice stated firmly, bracing herself for the inevitable backlash.

Her words were met with stunned silence, followed by a chorus of angry protests.

"What do you mean, drop out? You've worked so hard to get into a good school!" her father exclaimed, shaking his head in disbelief.

"Are you insane? You're throwing away your future!" her mother scolded, her eyes narrowing at her daughter.

Alice took a deep breath, gathering her courage to explain. "I'm tired, mom. I've been studying business for two years now. I have no passion for it, no interest. It's just not for me."

Her parents exchanged a skeptical glance.

"But you've always been a straight-A student. You're good at business," her father argued.

"I don't care about being good at it. I don't want to spend the rest of my life in a career I have no passion for," Alice retorted, her voice growing more confident.

"And what do you plan on doing then? Living a life of leisure, like some of those trashy novels you read?" her mother sneered, her tone dripping with condescension.

Alice felt her anger bubbling up inside her. "Maybe I do want to live a life of leisure. At least I won't have to live with parents who constantly belittle me and force me to do what they want!" she snapped, her voice rising with each word.

Her parents sat in stunned silence, their faces turning red with fury. "How dare you speak to us like that! We've sacrificed so much for you, and this is how you repay us!?" her father bellowed.

"Get out of this house! If you're not going to take your future seriously, then you have no place here." her mother added, her voice cold and unforgiving.

Alice felt a lump rise in her throat. However, she refused to back down. "Fine. I'll leave. And I'll never come back," she declared, her voice filled with conviction.

The room was filled with tension as Alice stormed out, her parents shouting angry insults after her.

Despite the fear and uncertainty of her future, Alice felt a sense of relief wash over her.

She was finally free from the constant pressure and expectations of her parents. And even though she wasn't sure what she wanted to do next, she knew that she would never regret standing up for herself and following her true passions.

While walking down the busy streets, a smile spread across her face.

She felt like she could do anything and go anywhere without anyone telling her what to do. She was thinking about the endless possibilities that she couldn't help but imagine herself in different scenarios.

One of her favorite fantasies was to be transported to a different world, one where she could be anyone she wanted to be.

She often daydreamed about being the protagonist of a popular book she had read, 'Beauty and the Beasts' by White-Headed Dream.

In this world, women are the ones who hold power and lead their clans with their intelligence and strength. Beauty is considered rare and precious, and the main character, Bai Qingqing, is so beautiful that her presence caused a stir among influential men and disrupts the social order.

Lost in her thoughts, Alice turned a corner and suddenly stumbled upon a strange portal. She hadn't noticed it before, but now it stood right in front of her, swirling with an otherworldly energy.

"Is this even possible?"

She looked at it in doubt. Isn't everything happening too fast?

However, her heart couldn't help but race with excitement as she realized this could be her chance to finally live out her fantasies.

She is uncertain as to which world this portal will lead, but she hopes it will be in the fictional primitive world she imagined herself.

Without any more second thoughts, she stepped closer to the portal, her mind filled with images of herself as a revered female surrounded by handsome and loyal beastmen. She could almost feel the power and freedom coursing through her veins.

But as she reached out to touch the portal, she lost her balance and fell into it. The world around her spun and twisted.

Before she knew it, she was surrounded by darkness.
