I headed back to my compartment still feeling warm in the face from the boys teasing and rolled my eyes at myself. The chances of actually ever meeting Viktor Krum were slim to none, and I knew that, but I couldn't help the small crush I had on the man.

I mean come on he was an attractive, young, quidditch player, who doesn't have a small crush on the man.

A small, umph, left my mouth as I ran straight into another body and stumbled back.

"I am sorry I-" I cut my self-off as I looked up realizing the person I ran into was none other than Hermione Granger. The small smile on my face was quickly wiped off as I stared at the bushy haired girl.

She held a glare on her face as she stared at me with what appeared to be disgust, the urge to roll my eyes was stronger than ever but I kept a straight face. She scoffed and went to walk around me heading back to what could only be Harry and Rons shared compartment.

I lightly grabbed her wrist as she passed not able to help myself, her feet stopped, and she jerked her body towards mine.

"I know you are muggle born, and weren't brought up to learn about Mother Magic, but did anyone ever tell you that a witch wearing her hair down can be seen as disrespectful?"

I questioned her, my voice soft, as to not be overheard. Her glare left her face as she slowly guided her wrist out of my grip, and she looked at me as if it was the first time she had ever seen my face.

Slowly she shook her head no, "There are books about old magic and Mother magic in the library to explain, if you truly wish to know, and if you have a spare ribbon, I wouldn't mind helping you put your hair up now if you would want."

My words came out a little fast and I stumbled over a few feeling a little anxious, but she looked at me in curiosity before nodding and I smiled slightly at her. I nodded my head towards my compartment, and she followed quietly behind me.

As we entered Valaria was still not back, so I guided her to sit as she handed me a red ribbon.

"Why are you helping me?" Her voice was quiet, almost too quiet but I heard none the less. A small sigh left my lips as I started to navigate how to manage her hair into some braids.

"As much as we don't get along Heiress Hermione, I do not hate you, and Mother magic would want me to help a witch who needs help."

Slowly she nodded her head, and we sat in silence for the next 15 minutes of my fingers working her hair into a neat updo. I gently tapped her shoulder, signaling I was done, and she stood up walking the few steps to the door.

She turned to me right as she put her hand on the handle of the door, "Thank you, truly." I gave her a genuine smile and nodded. With a small smile aimed back at me she turned and left me alone once again.

Around 5 minutes go by before Valaria is opening the door and entering our little shared space.

"Ugh that took forever." She groaned as she slowly sat herself across from me, crossing her legs and leaning her head back against the seat. I smiled at her, and she looked back to me a mock glare on her face.

"So, what did you get up to when I was away?"

I hummed setting my books aside, "Well my hair pin disappeared so I had to go to Draco for some help, and then on my way back I ran directly into Heiress Hermione, and actually asked her if she knew about wearing her hair down."

This quickly got Valaria sitting up and leaning forward, eyes wide. "And? What did she say?" I laughed at my friend's nosiness.

"She didn't know, so I actually led her back in here and helped put her hair up." I said and I swear I thought Valaria's eyes would pop out of her head from how shocked she looked at this new information.

"No way."

A snort came out of my mouth as I observed her, and she rolled her eyes at my un-lady like laugh. "Are you going to tell Draco that you are literally braiding his enemy's hair?"

I quickly shook my head no, "My little brother does not need to know anything about this, I am sure he will question why she is all the sudden wearing her hair up, but maybe it will help mend the bad blood between his group and hers if he sees her respecting Mother magic more."

"Wow, mastermind over here huh?" I shook my head a small smile still playing on my face. "I really don't know why they hate each other." A thought popped up in my head and I opened my mouth again.

"Well except Weasley, I understand that hate." She nodded along with my words, a small smirk playing on her face. "Honestly if you like Weasley I think there is something seriously off with the way your brain functions."

Laughing we spent the rest of the ride to school gossiping and talking about our plans for this coming year.

I truly did miss having girl time, being around Draco all summer really made me lose some brain cells I swear.
