Lightning Ren before Ben! Her childhood Story.

Renwood Mall

I wake-up surrounded by people looking down at me. The sun beams into my eyes so I cover my face and slowly sit up. A big old book slips onto my lap. I look down at it but I cant read it! I have no idea what language it is. In fact that's not the only thing I have no idea about, I don't know anything not even my own name!

Bella in a sweet calm tone- "Hello sweet pea my name is Bella. Could you tell me where your mum and dad are?"

"I don't know."

Bella- "Could you tell me their names?"

"I don't know them."

Bella-"Could you tell me your name?"

"I don't know it!"

Bella- "What do you remember?"

"Nothing! I don't remember anything. I'm scared!" 

Bella- "It's ok sweet pea. We can call the police see if anyone is looking for you and if not we can find you a tempura place to stay."

Bella call's the police as I sit on the steps outside Renwood Mall. She stands just out of reach so that I can not hear anything she is saying. I sit there for about 15 minuets before Bella puts her phone back into her pocket and struts back over to me. 

Bella- "Well sweet pea, so far  on one is looking for you but that could change! I can take you to a care home for the night and we can try the police again tomorrow ok?"

"Is it save there?"

Bella is surprised by my comment- "Yes it is save! I promise!"  

Bella reaches her hand out for me. I stand up and take it. With the big old book in my other hand I follow Bella to her red car. She opens the door for me and I get in, I take a seat and clutch onto the book. Bella gets into the car and she starts driving. As we drive I look out of the window in amazement. I've nether seen anything like this (as far as I know) Buildings so tall they touch the sky, there is so many red and green light everywhere and green trees coved in balls and light and the most beautiful thing I have ever seen the white stuff!

"Bella what is the white stuff on the trees?"

Bella-"Oh sweet pea that's called snow!"

"I love snow! Its so pretty!"

We sit in the car in silents for the rest of the ride. I just keep looking out of the window. She stops the care outside of a red brick building. Bella gets pout of the car then she opens the door for me. I jump out of the car and closely follow behind her. We get inside, there is a dark corridor with seats outside of an office room. Bella usher me to sit down and she walks into the office closing the door behind her. I sit there for about 10 minuets before the door makes a 'ping' sound before slightly opening so I can now hear everything they are saying. 

Bella- "She doesn't remember anything not even her name!"

Meg a social worker- "So what are we going to call her? We can't just call her kid!"

Bella- "We could call her Ren, I did find her outside Renwood Mall!"

Meg- "Ok Ren it is! She will have to stay with Gus for tonight because there is no anywhere we are full! How old is the kid anyway?" 

Bella- "I think she has just turned 6, she looks about that age!"

Bella leaves the room and crouches down in front of me.

Bella- "Since you don't know your name we are all going to call you Ren is that ok?"

"Yeah I guess it's ok."

Bella- " Well ok then! You will have to stay with Gus tonight as there is no space here."

Bella drives me to Gus's house, I walk in and he hands me a bag with clothes snacks and bathroom things in it. He shows me to my room and leaves me alone to get settled as it is late. I look around the plain room, the wall's are white and so is the bed. The blankets are purple, it's a really pretty colour I think it is my favourite colour. I turn off the light and get into the bed.
