~Prologue~

Liam Payne. An eight-teen year old boy who's one of the most popular people in school. He's the star football player and has tons of friends. Everybody know him and he pretty much knows them all as well. The thing that everybody doesn't know is that he likes guys. He's insecure about his feelings when it comes to that but he hides it well. Liam doesn't want to ruin his reputation but he wants to be happy and comfortable with himself. But how long will it take until his bottle of emotions start to break?

Louis Tomlinson. An eight-teen year old boy who's sort of an outcast and keeps to himself. Louis doesn't have many friends but he has a few close ones and that's all he needs. Not really the athletic type, Louis likes to sing and play the piano. He doesn't really care what people think about him. He knows who he is and whatever people say, he brushes it off or at least tries to. There's a certain star football player that he likes but it's complicated. How much hurt and pain can one person go through before it's too much?

Liam went to an all boys primary school in London. Louis moved there in Year 5 and went to the same school. Louis was the new kid and didn't really make friends. That is until one day a boy came and helped Louis. The boy being Liam, gave Lou some of his lunch because he didn't have enough money to buy any. From that day they became best of friends all throughout their schooling. That is until Liam started to play football. As the years went by, Liam became more and more popular but Louis and him still remained friends.

Now it's Year 13. The last year before they graduate and start their lives in the real world. During the summer before the school year started, something happened. Louis had told Liam how he felt about him. All throughout the years, Lou developed feelings for Liam. Liam had also developed feelings for Lou but they never talked about it until that summer. Liam told Lou how he felt too but that he wasn't sure if he was ready. Louis respected his answer but they somewhat made a compromise. They were together but in secret. They weren't necessarily dating but they shared kisses when they were alone. And now that the year is about to begin there's going to be many obstacles to overcome if they want to be together.

Both boys have immense feelings for each other but how long can Louis wait? And when will Liam realize the truth about himself?
