Once, there was a young girl. She always went to a tree by a lake.
And watched the sun quietly set. One day, she returned to the tree, noticing a young boy there as well.
She went up to him, and kindly greeted him. ," hello." He just stood up, and ran away.
She was confused, but brushed it off and watched the sun set yet again, alone.
The next evening, she saw the boy again. She tryed greeting him again but, he stood up, and ran away.
Now, she was curious. She waited the next evening behind a tree and waited for him to come.
He showed up and sat down by the tree. He looked up at the sky and said.
," I know you're here." She knew he was referring to her. And came out from behind the tree.
," why do you run away?" He looked up at her, and smiled, but still looking sad.
He sighed. And looked at her, sadly. He told her about how he used to come here, with a girl he loved.
But one day, when they came back, the girls heart stopped.
And before he watched her die in his arms she said,
" please forgive me, and wake up."
And it turned out, he was just in a comma. He missed her but knew she was only a dream.
He looked back at the girl, and her eyes were full of tears.
," I'm so sorry."
He told her it was alright, and there was no need to cry.
He turned her head towards his and kissed her.
," please forgive me." And he disappeared. The girl stayed at the tree
For the rest of her life, and gave it the name ,' the forgiving tree'
