- The meeting will start momentarily -

-           Upon the grand stage in the Fairy Tail guild hall, nearly all members attended a call for a special meeting. Makorav and Kurenai- the first seat wizard saint, and guild master to Mermaids Heel- stood center stage as many of the members chatted amongst themselves. They werent too sure what was going to be announced- but to have two powerful wizard saints in their guild hall was certainly a spectacle to behold.

Once the clock struck two, the meeting was in progress. The members that filled the guild hall quieted down- and the members that didnt make it simply wouldnt get the news until they returned. "Now that it seems everyone has arrived, I will let Kurenai speak. Listen, Fairy Tail, as this is important." Makoravs voiced boomed through the guild hall. Though the meeting was simply an official welcome to a new member- the member in question gave Makorav more concern than not. But, the old man walked off to sit at the bar by Mirajane, making sure to listen as well.

Kurenai smiled softly into the sea of bright young wizards. Fairy Tail always seemed so hopeful- it was a shame the council complained about them more than praised them. "Hello, Fairy Tail. My name is Kurenai, Im the first seat wizard saint, but today I am here as the guild master of Mermaids Heel." Kurenai introduced herself to those who may not of known her- she couldnt expect everyone to know who she was. "To not draw out this meeting, I will try to keep this short and sweet... One of my teams completed a job recently, and seemed to have brought back someone that was kept there... to put shortly." She spoke sheepishly, knowing it was a bit more complex than that- but the childs issues should not be aired out to a room full of his future guildmates. Kurenai reached behind her to nudge forward the subject of the meeeting- who had been contently hidden away and now seemed a bit caught off guard to be the center of attention in a place that was very unfamiliar to him.

The boy didnt seem more than two or three heads taller than Makorav. He didnt seem to be from the area- in the way he looked or dressed. For a boy, his hair was long- much like Frieds, but pitch black and in a high pony tail. His fringe framed his face, but his green eyes were visible, looking aroung the full hall. His clothes looked complex- at least where layers were concerned. It just looked like a lot of clothes that covered the boy alomost completely from head to toe. It was obvious that it was traditional attire from the part of the world the boy was from, and Makorov was sure it meant something to the child, so he didnt think to ask him to change.

"As you know, Mermaids Heel is an all girls guild. As proud as I am that my girls didnt leave a child in such a place- he can not stay with us. Thankfully, Makorov agreed to take him in." The saint spoke happily. Makorov made his way back up to the stage, figuring the meat of the announcement was about done. Rei did look over at the older man with a bit of curiosity. "His name is Rei. If I catch a single one of you allowing him to use his magic, I will handle you myself. Am I clear?" Makorov spoke with seriousness, causing a sychronous 'aye' to be said from the guild members.

Rei wasnt too shocked that the master told everyone not to let him use his magic. He could tell the two didnt agree with it- that Rei healed others, but he felt the pain that he took from the person he was healing. For a child, that was a lot of burden to cary. It shouldnt have been taught to him in the first place. It was considered lost magic for a reason. There are more effective and less self distructive ways to heal people now. But, putting a ban on it for now was the best way to keep Rei safe while they tried to figure out how to best continue. The place Rei came from didnt seem to mind too much, as they had been the ones to teach him his magic, and even made it his job to heal the others that resided in the temple with him. So, it was a little confusing what the problem was, but he knew better than to argue with an elder. Instead, Rei simply gave a small smile and a wave, not really having much to say, as the two adults on the stage already pretty much introduced him to the guild hall full of people.

"What magic do you use?" A voice could be heard from the crowd. Of course, it was the resident densest dragonslayer- Natsu. He may have actually been curious, but Rei did look over to Makorov to see if he was allowed to tell. If he said it there, he would be telling the whole guid hall- and Rei just wasnt sure if the Master was trying to keep in quiet for whatever reason. Erza was quick to shift the focus, having been up front by the stage. "Alright everyone, we have a new member to our guild, that is a cause for celebration. I want this place to look ready for a proper Fairy Tail welcome in the next hour." Erza commanded, which the members of the guild did give a big cheer and head off to get things ready. Rei figured it must be a common occurance, as everyone seemed to have something to do. "Welcome to Fairy Tail. Come along, we can go get something important for the party." Erza offered her hand to the boy. Lucy greeted the two with a smile, inviting herself to go with them, since she didnt want to be stuck with Natsu and gray arguing for the next hour. "My name is Erza, and this is my teammate Lucy." Erza introduced them as they headed out of the guild hall together.

"What important thing are we picking up, Erza?" Lucy questioned curiously as she followed along. Rei looked over at the red head curiously as he was also going to ask the same question. "Only the most important thing to any Fairy Tail party. Strawberry cake." She spoke passionatly. Rei was certain he saw literal stars forming in the girls eyes as she spoke of the cake. The people in this guild certainly seemed like a lively bunch. They acted very different from how the people acted in his old home. Sure, rei was a bit sad about not being able to go back to his temple, but he knew there was nothing left for him there. The masters had already explained everything to him the best they could. And even though he didnt think it was the most fair outcome, he knew there was physically no where else for him to go. Thankfully, these people welcomed him with open arms.
