Welcome to my brand new fanfiction!

Due to Wattpad and its character title: I have placed the name of this story as of now to be called [Following to Home]. Though, being me and my stupid love for Isekais, the true name of this story is:

[I followed my sister through her stage abyss portal and somehow got placed into a school for magic?!]

Amazing isn't it?

This will be gender neutral fic of Twisted Wonderland with a reader based on Aether from the game Genshin Impact.

Also, English IS my first language, so I am sorry to disappoint, but this might not be the masterpiece you all hope it'll be, though I'll try to fulfill my thoughts and ideas for this book to the best of my abilities! So please be patient as I'm no Shakespeare ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧

Before heading into this book please read the following information so you're not blind before going in:

Inconsistencies will exist between the Twisted Wonderland and Genshin Impact stories. I aim to create a narrative where players/readers can actively contribute to the thoughts, feelings, and actions of the characters, unlike the typical background role we assume in TWST.

If you are wondering about any aspect of the story, characters, or plot, please feel free to leave a comment here or directly on the relevant chapter. I'll address your queries either through comments or in the author's notes after each chapter. If certain questions come up frequently, I'll compile them into a dedicated chapter for easy reference, ensuring everyone can find answers swiftly.

I am beginning to write this book BEFORE the events of Genshin Impacts 4.6 release (Arlecchino will be mine) and before the English release of Twisted Wonderlands Book 7 Chapter 4. I have spoiled myself on the contents of said chapter, however, I would rather wait for the English version to fully immerse myself to understand it clearly.

I will try to make this book as inclusive as possible for all of you lovely readers, though there will be times when I'll picture the reader similarly to Aether. This, of course, is the reason for an Aether-themed reader.

GENDER-NEUTRAL: AKA they/them pronouns will be used instead of he/him and she/her.

There will indeed be romance, but it will develop slowly, reflecting the emotional complexities of the characters, who are all deeply affected by their traumas. The romantic aspect won't be explicit; rather, it will be a subtle thread woven into the fabric of the story, enriching the narrative without overshadowing its main focus. Also, some of you may be a bit wary about the age gap between the characters, though, in my mere opinion, Aether himself being over 500 years old doesn't mean he has the mindset of a 500-year-old. I see him being physically and mentally 16-18, so take that with what you will.

Critiques are welcomed and encouraged as I'm trying my best to create a story for entertainment purposes, though this does not give the go-ahead for nasty and mean comments. Any comments that are blatantly rude or in any way negative towards me, the story, or another person or group will be DELETED. ദ്ദി（• ˕ •マ.ᐟ

Trigger Warnings will be given at the beginning of every chapter, however, it won't be for small things like the mention of blood or the mention of food. If the trigger warning is there it'll be for extreme topics such as (and not to say these are or aren't going to be a part of the story); eating disorders, suicide, child abuse, etc. What I'm trying to get at is don't be a pussy and get mad at me for writing fanfic about fictional boys trauma dumping ฅ^ >ヮ<^₎

Updates will be sporadic! I'm a senior in High School currently until the end of May (2024), and though, thankfully, I have no exams, I'm still a really big, lazy, piece of shit. This is made purely for fun and if I don't feel like writing then I'm not going to force myself to.

Art will be shown but don't expect it to be made by me unless specified! Credit will be given when due! Edits made will use only TWST and Genshin official arts!!
